I am just in awe of your images as well as your trip. I love elephants and could look at these all day long. You have learned well and you have brought back some remarkable, enviable photographs of your safari.
Mesmerizing! all three images!! Impressive, Geoff! Sorry. I think I'm repeating myself!

Mesmerizing! all three images!!
OH,MY! Photolady, this are awesome! Gives us some sense of their enormous size. And the size of that mouth! Whoa! That fella in #1 looks like he has you in his sights and I can only imagine your nervousness. No sign of you shaking! Well done!
I like your moody version, Jim-Pops. Looks like if you got much closer, you could be staring down the barrels of a shotgun! I just read Jojo Moyes' book, The Giver of Stars, and this image could well illustrate the life in Appalachia, 1937.
I love everything about these, photolady! the contrast, the energy, the power, the simplicity, the magnificent animal! I have been working with high contrast (chiaroscuro lighting) and when it works, its powerful. These both are all that!
thank you so much, Rob! My posts have been scarce and I only get on site a few times a month. Many of the photographers whom I enjoyed their skills, creativity and banter are rarely posting any more. I have always enjoyed your work. Your skills in pp are exemplary! Thank you for letting me know you took a look at this one, that is so encouraging!
Breathtaking, Geoff!! I could do with those kinds of sunsets every evening! The reflections along the wharf add another dimension to the beautiful scene. Well done. I hope you enjoy your new digs. It must be quite a change from a countryside village.
Ron, this is really striking! Well done composition and so interesting & compelling! I love those blooms and even the little ball shaped bits above the leaves are interesting on download enlargement ( prior to download I thought they were dried up bits). I've never seen this plant before and it looks like a little fun party going on!
Hi Sylvia! All are lovely! what a lovely garden to have such choices still. Although Gerberas are my favorite, I am loving the colors in #1 and the lovely composition and simplicity of the Rose of Sharon.
The beautiful Swan of Swan Lake! You have captured her beautifully, Angler. At times she is gliding gracefully along and then she appears as she is conducting the orchestra! I love the last farewell image!

Thanks Carysue, It really is spectacular in stormy weather, especially when the blasts in from the West. I will lookout some shots for you.
Geoff
I'd love to see those!!
A gorgeous image, Geoff..the sun rays behind the clouds also reflected in the water...the texture and colors in the foreground rocks. All remarkable. I think 'd like to be there when there's stormy weather brewing, high winds and all that but that's just me and looking at this for a while makes me wonder. So much to see! Impressive photograph.
I just love this little English Robin and his look is that of the aristocrat annoyed with the paparazzi! Beautiful capture and amusing, fitting title!
