Thank you for the gun or shovel reply. I had DNR guys come in with snakes to help my 4th grade students understand different aspects in science. The information they gave was invaluable.
There was 8 female rattlers in the same area. I would say pregnant or maybe, they were all bulimic.
I learned through observation the females are dark with black heads, the males marks are more golden and their head is a golden brown. Linda
The female rattler requires sunshine to help with childbirth or snake birth.
The blue heron comes to our pond to pick off our goldfish. Beautiful pictures. What lens did you use?
Absolutely picturesque. Linda
We have many coyotes in West Virginia. They are becoming a nuisance. Linda
The wolf looks beaten down by man. They are all beautiful creatures.
Wasn't that beautiful? I took several pictures on my way to the barn to feed my horse. Thanks for sharing.
I keep trying to post a picture of two rattlers I got earlier this summer. But, I am doing something wrong and can't get them to upload.
You know how grandkids are though. Our granddaughter put two nice sized goldfish she had raised as babies. The blue heron didn't get them a turtle came up from our neighbors pond. They're gone!
We live in West Virginia and they come up I guess from the Monongahela River to eat the gold fish in our pond. Linda
I love this picture. It reminds me of the spooky Hitchcock, Poe, and Rod Serlings the Twilight Zone shows and movies. Linda
I love this picture. It looks like a setting in an Hitchcock or Poe movie. Linda
