The moon is interesting to me as different ones have different names. It' really changes a lot during it's daily orbit around us in the evening, clouds, lighting, size and the shape. It's fun to get the sharpest detail in one shot or just use it as background in another. This shot is shot with grain in mind for the over all effect that it produces. Nice shot...Go back in Jan-Feb then they are all frozen you will love it! The last two weeks of February is when the Eagle's migrat those are always fun to capture too :-) :-)
Thank you everyone for your suggestions, the UV filter is on all the time for protection butt will come off that day. And yes the wide angle will be used for crowd shots.
