Am also just getting started. Have had a Lumix FZ28 that I really like, because take a lot of pictures, sailing, etc., and gives the telephoto plus medium wide angle. Small, and easy. Bought a used Olympus E410, liked it because of smaller body, and now having a couple of lens for it. Take a lot of pictures, and now getting into the process, and looking forward to this winter and learning more. Am getting the idea, that like on a motorcycle, it is the trip and not necessarily the destination! This forum is wonderful, especially for a novice like me, that looks forward to every morning and reading about the fine art of photography. Very exciting! Some day may want a better camera, but who knows?
Have an Olympus E410 and bought an adapter for my celestron spotting scope. Have never gotten respectable pictures, and thinking the adapter is the problem. Hope adapters work better for you!
