[quote=trainspotter]Boy some things never give up. I took these photos of this bridge with and without a train passing by. All are just Jpegs with no touch ups.[/quote
Regardless of what others say I like all your photos including the ones with trains as subjects. Good job!

Thank you, jeep_daddy, I found it shown when I turned on live view.

Why does it fire 3 times instead one per interval. I have interval set to 20 seconds, 500 intervals X 1 = 500 shots. What am I missing? ?

My laptop only has 3 USB ports... I have more gadgets than that. I see units out there that are really cheap and others at higher prices. Anyone have experience or recommendations?

I typically run a wireless mouse, keyboard, external HD and then want to tether my camera... Having several external HD's would also be handy to simplify access to past photos.

You can always save one usb port by switching to a bluetooth powered mouse. I have one on a laptop that uses an AAA battery the one on the desktop uses an AA battery both have good life spans for the batteries. I bought the first one because my laptop only has 3 ports, too.

Just got my 850 so I'm totally jazzed!
The one thing it didn't come with is a viewfinder screen cover.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Use a phone or tablet screen cover, trim to fit before installing.

I think NASA picked the lowest bidder. They've been doing that for years. IMHO.

Are you going to provide your answer? Or, are you going to keep the responders in the dark?

Curious question. Not new to photography or photoshop, but curious how you all are obtaining your shutter count? I have two Canon 5DII bodies, and I was told that I had to take it to a camera shop and ask them to obtain the shutter count. Is that true? Is there a way to obtain it myself at home?

Sorry, that lens goes with camera. It was on it when purchased in 1965.

. BTW bought a new battery for the meter and it does not function at all. So, total asking price for everything is now 225.00 USD plus shipping. Thanks, E.
