When you tell them what you have to sell, their computer generates a “quote”. The “quote” is subject to the equipment meeting the condition you specified. After receiving and inspecting, they will either stick with the quote, or alter it. My complaint is that they offered no explanation to explain the difference between what I said it was and what they thought it was. Because they couldn’t.

About 2 months ago I got a quote from these folks for a Canon GS9, $175. I sent it off, 3 weeks later they offer me $148. That camera was new, in the box, extra battery and a case. Not worth arguing about, so took their offer. 3 weeks ago I sent in my Nikon 300mm PF after receiving their offer of $515. Took them 8 days to advise me they had received the lens, and another 8 days to send me their offer: $355. Really?? 3 weeks for them to change their offer on a like new lens, with everything that came in the box, and the box as well. No explanation. I called, waited 15 minutes to talk to someone who had no reason, so I told them to return it.
I personally will never do business with them again. When the lens is returned, I will post it here for $500, then if there is no interest it will go to B&H, who presently have offered $515.

There seemed to be decent interest in my first post, so I thought I would do one more. If you want to see more, you'll have to go to Uganda. If you want the name of a good guide, just ask.
We went for the birds, but trekked the gorillas and chimps while we were there. Uganda is one of the top tourist destinations in Africa, primarily for the gorillas and chimps, it is “The Primate Capitol of the World. And, in the words of Winston Churchill, “The Pearl of Africa.
The Shoebill was why I went to Uganda. Lots of other places to go, but the best chance to see that bird was there. Our itinerary gave us 3 chances to get it, we got it on the first one, on a beautiful morning.

Returned a month ago from 3 weeks touring in Uganda. Photographed 222 species, and saw another 100+ that got away. Here are a few.

When I bought my Z9, having been in the field with folks using Canon and Sony mirrorless, and always needing to change batteries, I bought an extra battery, not cheap. When I go out, I can easily shoot over 1,000 pics, and my battery has never gone below 50%. Never have I needed to change that battery.

Buffy, Go to KEH photo. Put your items in and that will give you an idea what they are worth. A no hassle way to get rid of items. To get more $$$, you will have to put up with the hassles of folks asking questions, making silly offers, waiting to get paid in many different ways, packing and shipping, hoping your buyer agrees with your view of condition, and many more.
Good luck.

Dave, Thanks for the offer. Turns out you can’t just put a stamp or two on an envelope if it has a bulge. Been awhile since I’ve sent out a bunch of packages. Lessons learned. Luckily, it won’t break the bank, and I’m glad to get these items out of my camera bags and into the hands of folks who can use them.
Best,
Mike

I cropped them all to as close to the same size as possible. The point was to see the detail difference.

It certainly shows what an unfair trial was held in the New Minneapolis.
I have friends who lived there their whole lives, had to leave. The city they loved is gone.
