Now I'm retired(15yrs)from a major airlines of 34 yrs and quit taking wedding photographs and just do photos for ME ! I worked during 911....at Greater Pittsburgh Airport and the next day put in for retirement(the following Apr 1, turning 55). Had several sleepless nights but since I left I sleep like a baby 8-9 hrs a night, WINE (whine) helps. I feel what will be will be and I'll deal with the outcome.
relax, you're doing fine!
I shoot from a 26ft pontoon boat and don't have to worry about "sea dos" "wave runners" or skiers...its strictly a fishing lake, Black Lake, NY. Jim runs the boat St Sasha Bernard(my dog) sleeps in the shade and I snap away! I carry my equipment in a water proof, floatable back pact .... makes me feel better also. But I'm older now and my back pact needs wheels.....
Walrus, NC...thanks for the update about homeowners, I will check it out with my ins. man...
I have a lake house on Black Lake NY and many times came real close to "wetting" my Nikon D200 w/ nikkor 300m/2.8.....I cried it came sooo close but learned a lesson...."pay attention" to your equipment! Martin, what type of business are you in? I love the "spiders face".
I'm blown away with this shot....may I ask what mm lens? I use NikonD810 w nikon 300mm/f2.8.
New purchase...was very excited...past tense...not compatible YET per Nikon....CD=rom (which was sent with NEW nikon D810)is only 10.11.6,10.9. 10.8...they are still working on it and apologize. And View NX is only compatible with 10.12 but no 10.12.2. And per nikon "don't use Nikon Transfer 2". So , I'm going to be 70 yrs young Apr 1(yeah, April fool) and I feel I've been fooled! I thought you could teach old dogs new tricks but in this case I'm not so sure....Any input from nikon/Mac users would be greatly appreciated.(Sierra 10.12.2).
Thanks, Cookie
