I find these snouted ones so cute.

They are pretty cool little creatures Brenda. Best part is that no one's hunting them for their tusks.

weevils are one of my fav bugs to shoot, they look so funny when they walk

This Flower Weevil didn't walk, at least not while I was looking at it. Maybe I'll hang around to see that if I spot another.

It is a weevil (family Curculionidae), and by context it could be a flower weevil. So maybe this species: https://bugguide.net/node/view/1017484/bgimage

Thanks Mark! Now that you got me in the right church, I found this Pennsylvania pew..

Captured this image at Longwood Gardens today. The flower the insect is on can't be more than 1 1/2"-2" in diameter, so that will give you an idea of the size of the bug. Posted it on BG, but haven't gotten a response. Only thing I found with a Google search was a site in Australia that requires a login/password. Hoping Mark or someone else has seen this insect and can ID it.

For those who might be interested, I checked BG again and then Googled and found the last beetle to be a Margined Leatherwing. So, all five of those insects were firsts for me. That definitely makes it a good day in the wetlands.

The first 'beetle' is a kind of sawfly. These are actually a kind of wasp.

No surprise that you nailed that - a quick check turned up a Black-headed Ash Sawfly. You are good!!! Thanks Mark!

Nice job...I like the angle on the butterfly.

Thanks, wasn't like I had an option. As I mentioned it wasn't close and it was also about 3'-4' down in a pile of rocks and stones.

Walked around the wetlands (which after the recent rains are REALLY WET) at the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia. I think the first one is a moth but couldn't find it on BG. All taken with Sigma 150mm macro lens. The butterfly was about 8'-10' away in a restricted area.

Agreeing with most of the replies concerning Old Quebec being very walkable. As someone who travels to Europe often, I'd tell you to ignore the currencies and simply use your favorite credit card (or one that doesn't charge a transaction fee). You'll get the best conversion rates and you don't need to have a lot "funny money" that you may wind up taking home and never using. I've never used a currency exchange store and never will.

I have used the skewers awhile but recently with a new diffuser, stuffed it with those large clear packing bubbles that came with some new equipment. Works well and I haven't broken one yet. Did break a skewer once, a bit of a problem.

Don, just put a couple of 8x4 air pillows from a package I received recently into the diffuser. Seems to work pretty well. I'll give it a field test sometime during the coming week. Thanks for the idea - love the cost!!!

You could try to insert a stainless steel wire along the edge , one thin enough to be flexible, but also rigid enough to stay put!

Thanks speters.
