I just bought the Sony a6300 a month ago, wanted a lightweight camera a step up from point and shoot. I'm very satisfied with the results so far, need to become familiar with the menu. Now I'm looking for a "hand strap" as the grip is small and would feel comfortable with extra security. As the Sony a6300 mirrorless is smaller than a DSLR I'm reading the most straps are too big. If anyone can suggest a "hand" strap that fits this camera I'd appreciate it. I also tried the camera in Best Buy where I ended up buying it, but taking pictures indoor at Best Buy doesn't do the camera justice. I've read that you can rent cameras, so maybe that might help you decide before you pull the trigger, but you can also return the camera within I believe 10 days if you're not happy with it. Here's a couple of pictures I took at a bird show, which shows the quality an detail of the Sony a6300.

I just got the Sony a6300 a couple of months ago, so far am very pleased with the quality and detail of the pictures. Now because of the small grip, I'm looking for a hand strap to make it more comfortable and secure, most of the reviews I've read seem to indicate that most hand straps are too big/long for mirrorless cameras, does anyone have a suggestion?

I just got my Sony a6300 with the kit lenses at Best Buy in a bundle, I too don't like carrying a heavy camera around and chose this for portability and quality. Still getting used to a Sony after Nikon film cameras and Olympus point and shoot. So far am happy with the results!! Good luck finding the right camera for you.

Hi Greg,

Great photos!! My wife is from Quito and we try to visit yearly. What I look most forward to is going to Mindo, Ecuador which is probably now only an hours drive or so from the new airport. Where did your guide take you to see the hummingbirds ?
