I found out long ago that it is tough to sell photos as art. It's best just to shoot to please yourself.
I think it posted the second time.
My black and white impression of Delicate Arch. I hope the "store original" actually works. I have trouble with it.
Thank you all for your comments. I find that playing around with the special effects is like other pleasant endeavors...once you start, it's hard to stop. I have no idea why the "Store Original" did not work.
I'm so glad you "get it." My idea was to create art, an image that was interesting...and colorful. Some people think that "Guernica" is overblown and does not look "real."
Not sure why the "store original" didn't store the original....I guess the computer is smarter than I am.
Yes. Purists tend to forget that photography is an art as well as a craft. I like your images. I also enjoy manipulating my photos. It's your images, do with them what you like. Remember what Ricky Nelson said, "It's alright now. I learned one lesson well. You can't please everyone so you gotta please yourself."
Nice! Love the brilliant color.
Here are three photos taken at GSMNP. I've been messing around with photo-art and having a lot of fun with it. I like the results. Your thoughts?
Nice series. Now here's a trivia question about the Tetons: How many Grand Tetons are there?
The basics were there when I took the shot. I processed it in Aurora HDR until I got the effect I was looking for.
No. I just had an image in my mind and kept playing around with the image in Aurora HDR until I was happy with it.
Autumn morning in the Snake River Valley.
The world is full of "realistic" photos...They are called "record photos" or "I was there photos." I'm pretty sure art does not have to look realistic. Just my opinion.
You would be surprised at how many people are offended by photos that are not "pure." IMO color is supposed to be colorful.
