Incoming with a dinner for one at Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This Eagle was fighting an approximate 25mph head wind trying to land with its lunch and made it on the 3rd approach

This was shot a couple of days ago in neighboring Idaho.
There's some serious Eagle action there right now.
Thanks for looking

Yesterday in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Even the gulls were feasting along with the Eagles
It looks like we may have another record setting return of Bald Eagles this years.
If you're anywhere near here it's a MUST see.

This was shot this morning in neighboring Idaho. The migration has started and they are starting to grow in numbers for the annual feast on Kokanee salmon in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

There's only a couple of weeks left until the Eagle migration on the Idaho/Washington border. The migration is typically from BC and Alberta where they come to feast on dying spawning Kokanee salmon. Hundreds of birds can be seen at close range and sometimes even a 250mm kit lens can be too much glass
I have often blown (filled) 2 mem cards in one morning.
This was taken last year.

During last years migration in Idaho, this baldy was scanning the lower shores for Kokanee salmon and caught a piece of one that was being fought over.
Shot with a Canon 7Dii and a Tamron 150-600mm.

I don't know why but, I think it might be a old ad. Win 10 is only for 125.00 for up to 4 computers... from bestbuy. Install it and you'll love it....spy ware? lol

Exactly on the spyware stuff. The telemetry can be turned off if one's paranoid :)
