You don't get a better mirror image than that! Very nicely done.

Don’t know Luminar 4 but when you crop photos the tool should be set to “standard” crop sizes at 300dpi.
e.g., 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 etc. keep in mind 5x7 and 8x10 are not full frame so you would lose part of the image. You need to go to 8x12 for full frame.
If your crop is not a standard size, you need to crop the image and the change the “canvas” size to standard size for the printer to make the image size you want. And then trim down.
As a former photo lab owner the biggest issue was trying to explain to a customer why they lost 2” off of their image printed on an 8x10. Full frame aspect ratio is 8x12, 12x18, 16x24 etc.
Feel free to message fir more detail.

Really like the creative approach. It is amazing how old shoes can make an art piece.

3:2 produces a 4x6. 8x12, 12x18, 16x24 and 20x30 prints.

5:4 produces 4x5, 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20 prints.

These are the two most used aspect ratio's.

This is extremely helpful!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you,

There is probably a fit option as well where you can get the proportion that you want, but will need to trim the paper.

Thank you!!

You have to crop the image in one of the standard print sizes, i.e. 5x7, 8x10, 11x14. I don't use Luminar but I think there must be a place to choose the crop size ahead of actually cropping. Then you would probably need to use the Resize option to make sure your new crop is at 300 dpi (the optimal size for printing). This assumes that your original photo is big enough to start with. Hope this helps.

I am completely confused on how to understand how to be able to print photos in the size I want, or in some cases any size at all.
I shoot with a Nikon D850 and use Luminar 4 to do postprocessing. When I crop an image to where I want it, often it will not fit sizes for printing. I simply do not understand how to control this - I will be more than grateful for any help that can be provided!!

Thank you for the thoughtful comments. I am not planning on making money on the books as they will be part of a travel package through the travel company. I just want good quality at a reasonable price and great customer service.
As always, you all have been most helpful!!

I have been reading some of the comments about which company they have used to print Photo Books and have appreciated the direction.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has sold their books as to how they priced them and were you able to get a special price from the printing company for either a larger order or the fact that you were doing this from a professional perspective.
I am going to be working with a travel agent who is going to include a photo book of a trip, individual prints, etc. If anyone has done this or some thing similar please bless me with your wisdom and experience.
