Number 6 is my favorite
Thanks for sharing

Thanks Stan. That and at least one other I posted here were "last minute" shots. Trying to look at it differently as we were preparing to leave. I was pleased ith it too.

High today was maybe 60 degrees. Can't say it is too much rain, just prefer pretty blue sky and clouds hen on vacation and photographing. So, I don't think I am going to be of much help with your temps or precipitation.

Beautiful place. The trees are changing already.

Thanks, and yes they are, about 3 more weeks until they get to peak color.

These are all excellent shots. What a wonderful place!

Thanks Carol. Yes, it is. I am still so thrilled that we had a break in the rain so I could have this opportunity.

Great captures - especially like #5&6. Overcast is great for forests environments. Stay well and keep on posting!

Thanks. Number 5 is one of my favorites too.

Took a trip to the UP of Michigan and with some unscheduled time, we went to a waterfall in the area. I had not heard of Bond Falls State Park 24 hours ago and now, despite it being a rainy day, I am in love with this place. So beautiful. All shots were handheld. I love the IBIS on the Z6! :)

Your D850 is PROFESSIONAL GRADE and PROFESSIONALLY WEATHER SEALED. Yes, it is as good as the D3, D3s, D4, D4s, D5 or D6. That said my D5, D4s, D850 stay at home when it's raining. No camera, repeat, no camera is waterproof unless it is designed for under water use. And you can take that to the bank.
Watersealed and weathersealed is NOT waterproof.

Thank you for your input, Bill. My D850 (and z6) have both been exposed to some light rain, but I do try to keep my cameras dry, overall. I am grateful for the great lakes being freshwater, or the outcome of last night may have been far different.

Good work, Sue! A true photographer, you hung in there.

Thanks Mike. At that point, I was as "in" as I was going to be, as long as I stayed on the pier, and despite the flash, we were safe, and we watched carefully for changing conditions from that point.

Thank you Thomas, I understand what you are saying and have read that before, but did not recall it. Your information is helpful and I will keep in mind for future purchases!
