Hello all. It has been way too long since I picked up my camera let alone make a post. Although I do review post here almost daily. So I thought what better day to make a post than my birthday. I took these pics in our back yard last weekend after I noticed a fair amount of butterfly activity at the Glossy Abelia below the deck. I threw in a couple of flow pics as well after I got some good butterfly pics. Enjoy your day!
I recently "had to travel" for work to Northern Ireland. I don't travel much at all for work so I was looking forward to having this opportunity to visit the North Coast of Ireland. I had seen so many great photos of Giants Causeway and the surrounding area I had to make this happen. Lucky for me one of my co-workers in Ireland offered to give me the guided tour! It was a great experience, one I will always remember.
View from work office. How do they get anything done?
On the drive from Newery to work.
Castle on the way to work.
The "Dark Hedges". Used in a scene from Game of Thrones.
National Trust Rope Bridge on the North Coast.
View looking back once crossing the Rope Bridge.
This is a Harbor on the North Coast. It was used in the Game of Thrones Iron Islands scenes.
Finally, Giants Causeway. Hexagonal stones everywhere. Very difficult to get a picture with no one in it.

Great collection. My favorite is the Great Blue Heron...but the shot begs to be cropped to remove the left foreground post.
Thanks Dave. I was going for a "Frame" affect by including the foreground post. But I can see your point. Maybe a little too out of focus to work effectively.
My wife and I visit Corpus Christi Texas a couple times a year. Mostly we visit family. Some times I visit the birds :). Hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from our July 4th trip.

Nice job catching the dragonflies on the wing!
Thanks. Took a lot of patience and a little bit too much sun that day. LOL
Hello,
I'm a long time viewer and first time poster. Thought I'd share a few pics of the nature my wife and I took our grand kids to see. The grand kids live in a large city in South Texas. I'm originally from S.E. Ohio and a once upon a time country boy. So I like to show them where I grew up and what I saw as a child. Most of these pics were take overlooking a pond off the back porch of a cabin we stayed at. Others were taken in the Hocking Hills area of Nelsonville and Logan. I hope you enjoy.
