A lot of you know me, my history of color blindness & my age.
Haven't posted for a while, but bought a new Pentax K5, & a sigma 70 to 200 2.8 & a Pentax 10 to 17 3.5. Had a chance to shoot a few shots the other day so here they are. You know I love light painting & HDR so hope you enjoy. These were all taken with the 10 to 17. Will post some shots later with the sigma 70 to 200. Feel free to critique.

AWESOME pics!!!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed them.

Very nice. Have not done any HDR. Not quite sure how to go about it. Your images are quality. Specially enjoy the first,"Towering Tree."

63 this year. Most of the time feel 30. Age is an attitude & what you feel in your heart. Thanks for the nice response.

This is down on steel st, south of 84th & east of York. There's a water treatment plant next to a little park. This is the platte river. It's a little hard to find.

I wrote a thread where I said I did not care for HDR. That being said, as a result of some of the comments on that thread I have tried to keep a more open mind and know more about the process and results. I find I really like and am drawn to your first photo on this thread as well as the third and last. All are very good!

I'm really happy these helped draw you in to another beautiful way of photographing. I think it has to grow on you. It's a matter of taste I guess, but I just love doing this. Just really makes the colors pop & the detail stand out. Appreciate your looking & the nice comment.

Looks like a painting. Very beautiful. I do agree on this photo to leave the vignetting out. Your very talented.

I appreciate the comments everyone! I am posting the original, and I also used the unsharpening tool to give the impression of fresh snow on the limbs of the trees and the ground cover.

Very nice. I like it better. Great photo. Thanks for re-posting.
