Affinity Photo is much like Photoshop but I think it's still a one-time buy, not including updates of course. You might consider Luminar or ON1. I'm not sure if Luminar does background replacement but it seems like someone I've talked to recently said it did. ON1 will allow background replacements. You'll have a learning curve no matter what you choose.

Affinity does not charge for upgrades. So far (1.5 yrs and two upgrades) I have not been charged. Wish people would stop guessing and then giving out false data about things on this site.

Great set, as usual. The last pic looks like the Chugwater area of WY.

Not even close.

The text means what it says; that we are commanded to forgive others who do us harm.

Period.

Now hell fire and brimstone have been released. I haven't heard this amount of old world dragon fire since I was a kid and the preacher was out of state so one of the old Lay (sp?) Ministers got to give the sermon. I thought the whole church was going to burn down and all of us (sinner all) were going to hang from the gates of hell.

So, I will burn in hell forever, but that dog that killed my son is burning in jail every day and I get that pleasure of knowing he is caged up like the animal he is and will forever be.

I have fought in two wars, so I am not perfect but there are a few very nasty people who will never again see the sun rise courtesy of my gun (see, it is the gun's fault). I do not feel sorry for them or me. I have no remorse. Just like the mooslums who cut the christians' heads off. I rode a pale horse. I have a "Don't tread on me" flag. I am a patriot. So I am the ultimate sinner. You had better pray for me, seems that is what you think I need.

I'll bet this will get some really nasty responses.

Although we may all be called upon to be that forgiving, Bill, I suspect very few of us succeed and many never care to try. If you're horrible, you're part of a huge crowd, I'm sure. My regrets for the events and your family's inevitable suffering. The kind of experience we all fear. My next door neighbor's son was stabbed to death in our local park, and I have observed the lifelong impacts of such awfulness.

I think the illustration relates more to forgiveness available to you or me, though. For instance, forgiveness for your inability to forgive a fiendish action.

I hope that is the case and I can accept that.

I would like to see it without the froth. I feel it would make it more dramatic and less blowout.

Sorry, but I can never forgive the illegal that killed my grandson. Guess that makes me a horrible person, so be it.

Yes, you can turn the shutter sound completely off!

Not totally correct. There are the the Q and Qc detents on the top left dial for "quiet" and "quiet continuous", but you still get some shutter noise. Due to the configuration of the shutter, you cannot make it totally silent. You can on mirrorless though.

I tried to make my D750 silent, but quiet mode is as close as you will get.

As I was jockeying for position on the lower bridge to the falls, about seven of these Monks slowly walked by while humming and chanting quietly. Then they all stopped, pulled out their cell phones and took some selfies. Very old meets very new. They were very focused on getting their share of the falls.

I have no PP so far, and the blowouts are distracting, but just look for the interesting contrast of Monks/cell phones.

Great dogs, known for its coral herding. Very sweet disposition and easy to train. We had one and also 4 kids. The poor dog was a nervous wreck constantly trying to herd all the kids together in one spot. Hardly ever happened. Cannot let my wife see this photo or she will start crying and saying we need to get another one. NOT!

My wife has one on her 5xxx Nikon and it stays on all the time. It is a fairly light weight lens for that type of zoom. Very little distortion, focus time is good, and good image tracking. It did not come with a lens hood, but I found one on e-bay for $10.00. Not one complaint from either of us.

It is a nice light in weight camera. Lots out there at very good prices, if you want to go used or new. My wife has one and loves it. She seems to take much better photos than I do with my D750. Maybe it is the operator. If you are in doubt, rent one to see how it handles for you.

I loved these old "Belch Fire" cruisers. Thanks for the memories. This one is beautiful.

I had a very unique '58 Dodge convertible, manual 3 speed on the column (Dodge did not offer a manual shift in '58 for a convertible), 361 ci with 2-4 barrel Weber carbs and solid lifters, dual exhaust glass packs. My brother got it as a wedding gift from his oil rich mother-in-law, who had it custom built from the factory. After he had kids, he sold it to me for $500. By then the glass packs were blown out and the sound was awesome. Then a hail storm hit us with golf ball size hail and put many holes in the cloth top. Sold it for $700 as is, went to college on that money (which paid for a full year of school, including room & board, books, fees and tuition. Got my spending money from working in the cafeteria.

A sleeping beast. Very nice. I like sleepers. I have a 2014 Mustang GT, with an after market blower on it, 565 hp. This truck can really turn on some some hp of its own. Cool.
