I didn't - but it was still amusing;) - so thank you for posting.
Even if not real, I could easily envisage them happening. All you have to do is go to WallyWorld at 10pm on a Friday night...
Have to disagree - anyone who holds hot coffee between their knees possess an intellect at best questionable. Anyone who does that while in a car is simply an idiot.

Thanks for going to the trouble of investigating this which seems to be a rare talent on the internet. I guess the only thing I like about the people that are excited about spreading this BS is that at least they are wasting their time doing that instead of trying to scam others.
Thank you. FAR, FAR too much BS & mis/disinformation, & I consider it essential to verify as much as possible.
Sorry to be the one with the cold water...

None of these are in any way true.
Very nice, both image and car - looks like it was painted with liquid glass.

Well captured Fstop. I wonder if maybe it's time to stop worrying about what camera is used. To me it's kind of like saying, "This shot is not really very good, after all I only used a cell camera." This one would not be any better if you had used a Z9
SO overdue!
Really nice image as-is. I don't know whether it was cropped or not - to my personal taste, I liked it even more with a very little (further?) cropping.
The leaves appear to be other-world insects. The more I looked, the better I liked it.
And we wonder why UHH can't attract new, younger members...

I have read all the comments and now I want one. I love crispy toast!

If you want to keep the toast warm too, buy the porcelain one and warm it (gently!) in the microwave.
We have this one - https://www.ebay.ca/itm/204097214624 - but bought it new for about $8!
Only in 'Murica would we want to lay toast flat so it goes soft and soggy. But then we seem to like most foods soft and soggy like baby food.
The purpose of a toast rack is to keep toast crispy. If you don't want it crispy, why toast it in the first place?
And another point, after a lifetime in business mostly from the providing side rather than the consuming side, there is a golden rule to be followed if you want to increase membership: Focus - hah! - on the customer and the customers needs and wants.
Start with the gratification of producing a great final image, THEN help people get there.
Accept that most people will start out with a phone and interest may or may not bloom.
Here, we always want to start talking about f-stops and ISO and focal length. Boring. Necessary, eventually, but boring.
I read through this whole thread out of interest as I'm seeing similar issues with other special interest groups.
Some of the problems and issues on here include that we are, with few exceptions and of course everyone will think they are an exception, a group that is not conducive to attracting younger members because we are:
- Equipment obsessed, with most of us having thousands on dollars worth of equipment that we can barely use (judged on so many posted results). With all the financial pressures these days, where is the incentive to spend THAT much money on something that doesn't do that much?
- Highly critical of anything that doesn't match with personal, frequently outdated, beliefs
- Obsessed with the past. Like it or not cellphones ARE the future, which should be obvious to anyone with half a brain. Dedicated cameras are not. Period. Get used to it. This alone kills many people's interest in this dying group of dinosaurs. If someone likes taking pictures with their phone, how about trying to nurture that into a serious interest in photography, instead of the usual super-critical world of sh#t that is dumped on them for having the temerity to use a phone to make an image?
There may be many things "wrong" with younger people, but have a good, really good, look in the mirror.
I'm a mere baby at 69, but less and less do I find UHH relevant to me, which is disappointing.
I think we forget that a relatively high percentage of the earth's population has a cellphone capable of taking photos (and thus, to the OP's point, obviously affecting how the world sees things), where as those interested in photography specifically is a tiny, tiny almost negligible percentage.
The actual number of smart phone users who are interested in producing "art" with their phones is probably quite similar to the number of camera users - top of the range cellphone can produce spectacular images and Apple made a big deal about high-quality billboards done with iPhones if anyone remembers.
We all know that cellphone can't - yet - produce good long range photos for things like BIF or motor racing, so no need to flog that particular dead horse.
On some forum somewhere, there's doubtless a conversation going on about how those full frame mirrorless people are ignorant enough to think that their tools will ever replace medium format...
Oddly, neither. They seemed to coexist quite well. I watched for a long time - at one point the rose was being shared between two bees, the lizard and a beetle of some kind. Who knew?
