I'm hoping for no more snow. Last night got down to freezing so that's not done yet, but the days are warmer.

I don't like this teasing weather either, one day it's got everyone going to the beach and the next we're back in our scarves and gloves.

Morning. Seems like afternoon. I have accomplished much today. Still so much to do but I take it one task at a time. This mornings task was cleaning the kitchen. Kitchen is not 100% but I have to accept that right now I cannot do it all. Clean enough to be sanitary is all I ask of myself. Laundry is next on my list after I rest a bit and eat a cup of the yogurt I just made in the instant pot.
Lisa continue to think of you. Hoping things are going better than expected for you.
I hear the dryer calling beep beep beep. Talk to you later.

I can't imagine how people live with 3 bathrooms and huge houses, different world now most have good jobs and don't want to do their own cleaning. In my world you only do that if you have a disability. My kitchen needs to be painted again, it's funny how the paint wears off on the kick boards and bottom of cupboards.. painting isn't my thing! Is your yogurt thick done in the IP, I'll have to try that next.

This is the first box that is filled mostly with "not my favourites". Every other box has had mixtures and only 1 or 2 that I didnt' care for. I'll still eat them over the next 3 or 4 months.
Didn't we have problems with potatoes just a couple of years ago? With black rot inside the potatoes? What's coming next?

So what are your favourites? I like the Himalayan salted Peanut Butter!

Thank you it was good and I was tired by the time I was finished making it all,
I had my third injection on Wednesday and have been under the weather since, the weather has been all over the place this week also which is not helping, we had rain and tornado warnings on Monday then Wednesday we turned cold and it snowed over night….

Hello Lisa, I remember my chemo knocking me out for a while after each session, just hunker down dear sister till you feel stronger, it'll come. Sunshine sure is healing in itself, and I wish you some soon. The weather is up and down here too, thought my fingers were going to freeze off this morning, even with gloves.
Hugs for you. xoxo

The nicest day of the week so far, a warm 15 degrees C. I'm off to take my car in for a windshield replacement. Last week I got pinged by a rock and went "whew, that's cool no chip" Parked the car for a few days and when I went to use it, a crack originating from a previous fixed chip low by the wipers spread around and right across the drivers side.
I can't believe how good I'm getting at accepting what's thrown at me with grace. I didn't curse. Down $300 deductible, hoping something good will happen to even it out in the future. Lunch with a friend while they tinker with it for one and a half hours. Going to see the Dr in 2 weeks to get on the hip replacement list... don't expect anything to happen for at least a year. xoxo

Good morning, back to a cold Spring and lighting the fire every morning. Really nice to hear the birds talking to each other every morning. Had a good dental clean and love my new dentist. He tells me my mouth had been abused when I was a child, my canine teeth removed. Now that is akin to cutting off a person's legs, so they must be very important for healthy development. In the day they thought kids had too many teeth and took them out.
Hygienist said I should consider a waterpik, do you actually end up washing your whole face with one.

I was tracking the delivery guys bringing my chocolates. That day was a little warmer and I've already had one chocolate order, a couple of years ago, melt because the delivery was made to the wrong address and the box sat on the porch for a while.
I got my box all right this time. Unfortunately I have 2 levels of mallow bars, not my favourite. They will still get eaten.

I think I'd rather spend a little more and get a little less as long as they are my favourites.. They are saying chocolate, coffee and potatoes are the next to be troubled by climate change. xoxo

Thanks for the nice thoughts. I made a bit of progress yesterday. Hoping today will bring the results I need. I am being the squeaky wheel and hope I get attention.
Glad I have this wonderful neighbor that comes over and does what he can to help out.

If I have one of those days, I tell myself it's ok, tomorrow's a new day and I get to start over. If I muck up I forgive myself and try again! You might not feel it, but you are amazing Jinx. xoxo

Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 6:34 am EDT and -4'C (25'F) going up to 2'C (36'F) We are white again, but it isn't very deep. We had snow and rain and high wind. The leeward side of our house has no snow at all. Metal surfaces are covered with ice. I'm glad that I don't have to scrape the windows this morning. I do have to go out at lunch for a dentist appointment. We are expecting wet snow then.
The federal government is giving $15 billion to developers who will build apartment buildings. Great!
Toronto is putting in a new "rain tax". Any home with a paved area on their property will be getting an additional tax, but commercial owners with big parking lots will not.
The premier was on TV announcing a new medical school being built north of Toronto. It won't be producing any doctors until after 2038! Doesn't help anyone now.
Worked on both my Tea socks and my fairisle socks. I'm still not happy with the fair isle socks. I think they would have looked better with the colours reversed.
