Using WhatsApp, will highly compress the media, 100 to 1 approximately, it's OK for a quick view, but very poor quality. Here is what I do not like about Dropbox, to us it it must become resident on your system. Then it gathers and transmits information back to Dropbox, in the T&C that you agree to to use it Dropbox reserves the right to share your information with any partner company, this is an implied consent on your part to allow them to give away anything they can collect to third parties. I had a very bad experience with them some years ago 20 to 3 to be exact. My daughter was storing all her picture files and business contacts on their system when the file storage was free. At the point Dropbox was changing the free storage limit, and going to the pay to store program, they eliminated a significant amount of here stored files. She was unaware that was going to happen, some her fault for not reading her E-Mails that were sent. But when we contacted them to pay the fee to return the files, the response was that once deleted they could not be recovered. This was less than a week after the event. There was later a class action suit filed against them as some users lost highly valuable data. We later found out that much of the loss was due to negligence on the part of Dropbox. My daughter revived a check for 29.00 dollars, but lost hundreds of pictures of her children, and all her work files.

I use a free service called Hightail, works very well. It is not like drop box in that there is no software to install on you system. It is an FTP site that will allow large file transfer. You upload the file and the recipient downloads it on the other end. They have both a free and paid service.

Do love being dyslexic. No spell check for aberrations. Thank MPG. As a note the Abrams M1A1 get 7 gallons per mile, at 70 MPH.

I generally get about 29 to 30 GPM in my Genesis G1 on I77 between Columbia SC and Charlotte NC. I drive 80 to 85 all the time. I make this trip 3 round trips a month, on the occasion that I get slow traffic the mileage goes down. More time in the Car more gas burned.

Best way I have found, I copy to my HD off the memory card or direct from the camera, then when the phone is attached to the computer, just move them to the picture directory in the phone.
If you need more detail I can can send some screen shots of how it is done.

I have done quite a bit of repair of old photos where a crease or fold creates a white band, while not this wide the result is the same. What I have done is to work at the pixel level and make adjustments one pixel at a time. This process while highly successful is very time consuming. Given what you have I might copy the band to new space in PS. Then use the light dark and color match to take it back to match the original desirable area. You can then copy it back to the original and it will fit exactly. Be sure you save an unaltered copy of you original so you cna always go back.

If this was a CRJ, or similar plane the luggage hold is marginally heated, but not pressurized. Outside temperatures at 35,000 feet are 70 degrees below zero, cargo holds are held at around 30 degrees but at atmospheric pressure which is 4 times lower than at 500 feet above sea level. This change in pressure can cause the trapped gas in an LCD or LED display to expand and become damaged. The maximum operating altitude rating on a D7100 is 5000 feet above sea level. That not really how high you can go but what pressure it was designed to operate at, the air pressure at 5000 feet is 24.90m InHg, at 35000 feet it is 7.06 InHg,. This can damage computer screens, tablets, cameras, even lenses that have vacuum between elements, or inert gas. I fly all the time, if I am forced to give up my carry on, I either remove all of the electronics and carry it on or I ask the gate agent to provide me with a letter that states the air lines will be responsible for all damages that will occur. I have a small string bag in my Camera case that can hold Camera and lenses. That way I can place it under the seat, and hold it on my lap after take off. If the airlines are insistent the request of a letter stating they will cover all damage to your valuables will generally encourage them to find space in the passenger cabin for your valuable items.

32 Degrees is freezing, no digital device is engineered to be exposed to any extreme temperatures. The D7100 is designed to work at 32 degrees F, if the camera is left in a car overnight when the weather man says it has been 32, there is no assurance that in your area it was not colder. There is also a difference when using a Camera in the cold and having it sit in the cold. I lost the CCD on a Nikon by having it go in checked luggage it was well packed in a foam shipping case but the cold and low pressure cased the CCD to de-laminate. So my recommendation is never let your camera sleep where you wouldn't.

Definitely dead pixels, this is caused by any number of events. Pressure is one, cold is one, given the shape of the lines is either pressure, or contamination.

I used to live in Indiana, and we would often make the trip to Brown county to see the colors. Always wonderful, thank you for allowing me to recall these memories.

As a software writer, and user, and armature photographer, I would say that the leasing of mature product such as Adobe wants to do with Photo Shop, is done and has been done because the company felt that the market might be willing to pay the cost for the product and service. I for one have an old copy of that software, I don't need a new one I don't need up-dates, just like my 2008 car it works fine for me. That is what Abode has taken away, I can not buy a new one because it is not available. I bought my photo shop 10 years ago, I bought my car the same year. I can buy a new car and drive it for 10 years, I can not buy a new Photo Shop. As for cost of maintenance and support, they have spread the Kool-aid and many have consumed. It takes a ton of work to develop new software, granted, but what Adobe has spent on up-dates and support on PS is miniscule in compared to the profits the generate with this flag ship product. I have a friend who is a graphics artist he has 3 seats of the latest PS with all of the whistles and bells. I work for him from time to time as he has observed they have you over the barrel he used to buy the annual service for his product, that was a tenth the cost of the lease fee. Adobe like others knows their audience, we vote with our dollars. The sales of PS are down year over year as many of the users are like me using one of the last standalone offerings and not up-grading. So it is up to companies to run there business as they see best, as consumers if we are unhappy look for a product that will work for you. However my knowledge of software tells me this is a cash cow for Adobe, because the software is ageless in its need, so they can do a little and reap alot.
