Glad you could stop by. We live in Springville but lived on West Tillen in Boston before that. We frequent Sprauge Brook a lot in the summer on mountain bikes. Thanks for looking.

Thank you for looking. These kinds of days in January are unusual her but certainly a nice change of pace. 2 Weeks go we had 3ft of snow in the yard :-/.

Beautiful pictures, with moss of rocks in December! From family that lives in New York, i know that is pretty dang unusual. You are probably normally buried in snow, as I understand it. We are also having crazy warm weather up here in Michigan!
I had been reading that this is expected to be the hottest year on record, beating the previous hottest year which was last year. The main cause is an unusually long and strong El Niño system in the Pacific. The finger is often pointed to climate change, and although that is another factor, it actually does not have much effect over the short term. This is really an effect of El Niño.

Time to get out and do anything with the camera has been slim lately but when you get an almost 60 degree day in Western New York in the middle of January you make time LOL. Managed to do a few miles in Sprauge Brook park in Southern Erie county today. Thanks for looking.

I have the Tamron 70-300SP-VC and am very happy with it. It is also on a D7100 and is significantly sharper than my friends Nikon 70-300VR when you get past 200mm. I would highly recommend it. I personally would go for the 70-300 from either company because they are Full Frame. This would allow a move to FF in the future without replacing this lens.

Excellent work, I love 1 and 3 the most, but all three are beautiful and bravo to you for asking permission from the land owner. Few would have done that.

I have been driving by this spot for many years but it was hidden by trees along the rod. They recently trimmed those trees and I noticed the tunnel and small falls. The wife and I made a trip over yesterday so I could try some shots. The landowner was very appreciative of me asking for permission before just tromping through his woods :-). I know that some would have proffered crisp water over this effect. My personal tastes (in most cases) are how you see it. Thanks for looking.
