Which would be a better use of your time and likely money? Learning by doing and asking for help, when needed, or paying someone who might / might not provide any help for the dollars spent?

How often do you print anything? How often to you envision paying for this service? Every time, even if you pay to re-invent the wheel each time? How much is too much to pay?

Personally, I'd expect a remote print service to offer help on color tone, especially white balance and adjusting a pronounced color tint, not important work effort in cropping, sharping, content replacement, and similar. So, in these areas, you'd be to needing to learn these tools and techniques for yourself.

The UHH community is always ready and willing to at least 'try' to be helpful on various editing exercises. Have you availed yourself of all these free resources, recognizing 'free' tends to be only as good as you've paid.

It has been available since the 5D4 (which I own) DPRaw is a real advance in capability , albeit a small and somewhat inconvenient to use.
You are limited to in camera , or DPP use, and files captured with DPRaw were not readable by my editor of choice.
So unless there is a known need for those limited capabilities, it didn't pay for me to capture files that way.

The 5D4 is the best camera I have owned and the R5 is better, but I found DPRaw to be sort of a "Solution in search of a problem"
I do not know if more editors support DPRaw now, but have not heard of any. So you have to change your whole workflow (in advance) each time you use it. Canon does admit that the range of adjustment is very small.
If someone has found a real world use for it I would also be interested to know.
