A friend has a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ200. She says even with the battery fully charged, and installed, the camera says "Battery Unaccepted". Can anyone help as to how to deal with this problem?

I have one and use it quite often. It's Nikon glass and much better than off market brands. Have a great time. With the 70-200 you will get some great shots. Just remember to post some of you work on UHH

WHAT RELIGION IS YOUR BRA?
A man walked into the ladies department and shyly walked up to
the woman behind the counter and said,
'I'd like to buy a bra for my wife. '
' What type of bra?' asked the clerk.
'Type?' inquires the man, 'There's more than one type?'
' Look around,' said the saleslady, as she showed a sea of bras in every shape, size, color and material imaginable.
'Actually, even with all of this variety, there are really only four types of bras to choose from.'
Relieved, the man asked about the types.
The saleslady replied:
'There are the Catholic, Salvation Army, Presbyterian, and the Baptist types.
Which one would you prefer?'
Now totally befuddled, the man asked about the differences between them.
The Saleslady responded, 'It is all really quite simple.'
The Catholic type supports the masses;
The Salvation Army type lifts the fallen;
The Presbyterian type keeps them staunch and upright;
The Baptist type makes mountains out of molehills.
Oh and
Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD , E, F, G, and H are the letters used
to define bra sizes?
If you have wondered why, but couldn't figure out what the letters stood for, it is about time you became informed!
{A} Almost Boobs.
{B} Barely there.
{C} Can't Complain.
{D} Dang!
{DD} Double dang!
{E} Enormous!
{F} Fake.
{G} Get a Reduction.
{H} Help me, I've fallen
and I can't get up!

I have a question for all of you guys here.
Has anyone used a mirror lens in their digital camera lately? Any that you recommend?
I used to have one that I use with my film camera but I have not used one with digital.

I would appreciate any recommendations

I recently bought a used Nikkor 500MM F 8 mirror lens. I thought it would work well with my Nikon D 4-S camera. Big disappointment ! Lenses of today use better glass, ED, Fluorite, Nano Crystal Coatings, etc. So, as you may realize, the quality of those old mirror lenses is NOT what you will get with today's technology.

Exceptional shots. Read before opening the photos:

These are some of the finest photographs distributed in recent history. Unfortunately, for us (and him), there will be no more.

A sad loss of this extremely special, 52-year-old French photographer Laurent Schwebel, who was stabbed to death by a thief trying to steal his camera equipment in Buenos Aires .

A naturalist photographer, he was born in in the Alsace region of eastern France and killed on February 8, 2012. As you can see, his work was different and EXCEPTIONAL.

Just remember a teleconverter will cut your light (aperture). Ex, a 2.0 converter will turn an F 4.0 into an F 8.0
Choose wisely.

I have both versions of this lens. For birding and ANY fast action photography, the newer model (AF-S) is the way to go. It is fast focusing and excellent sharpness. The D lens (original design) "hunts" for focusing. You will be wasting your money on this model. The bottom photo is of the slower focusing model. This is the one to stay away from for your type of photography.

Or put a different way, $1550 vs. $552. I'm trying to decide which lens will be best for nature photography, especially birding (on the wing).
Roberts Camera's used supplier has both lenses at the price mentioned, both in excellent condition. I'm just not sure if the $1000 difference is going to give me that much more in regards to faster focus and better/sharper image quality.
They both have Vibration Reduction but the AF-S lens is a half pound heavier than the older model, and I do a lot of hiking where I typically don't use a tripod.
Sure could use some guidance from those that have experience with these two lenses to help me spend my dollars wisely.

Seeking advice on where to buy a used lens. It's a particular older Nikon autofocus zoom. I'll have to buy it online, and am seeking recommendations and warnings of used lens sellers. I would like to get it from a seller who actually checks the lens for proper function and is a straight shooter in every way. Fine with paying a fair price; I want quality and am willing to pay for it. I'm sure that y'all in Hedgehog land have vast experience with many online dealers... Thanks in advance.

I get my used lenses from my local Samy's camera store, and B & H online.

Here is an image i took quite a few years ago, It is not to everyone's liking, but apart from HDR and a little use of levels in Ps, this image is what was taken with the camera, not a composite, just lucky I suppose. I also won the Independent Newspaper Big Picture competition many moons ago. The pic was taken from the garden in Herefordshire, UK, very close to the Brecon Beacons.
