Really? Just how do you figure that? Bubba.

Simple....in todays world, it's tantamount to saying Viagra without using the word intercourse. Black/White, take a minute and ponder.

UPS just announced that to enhance it's image to better reflect it's commitment to the highest quality service and performance it will be repainting all of it's trucks black (black & white for the larger ones) with a red stripe around them! Drivers will wear black pants, white shirt, and a red belt. Delivery speed will also improve. Drivers will be instructed to drive like they were "shot out of a Canon"!
You heard it here first, folks! :-D

That's racial Bubba.

I take a lot of "snap shot" pics around my church. I still pass them through my quick process which amounts to basically checking the photo (doing deletes), and maybe fixing exposure, tilt, color and anything that stands out. Have been using Faststone software for over ten years and it has served well.

Last week I upgraded to Windows 10 (still upgrading) and now the people appear to be slightly fatter.

Any ideas.

Yes. Take pictures of people before the Fellowship hour.

Tree Hugger's 36 facts wouldn't mean a thing if God changes his mind and makes water like every other compound of similar molecular weight, in which case water would only exist as a gas and be liquid or solid only under extremely low temperatures and high pressure. The water molecule (m.w. 18) is dipolar (not bi-polar!)and like little molecular magnets clings to other molecules and stays as liquid under "normal" conditions.

Now that's heavy duty.

I believe that it is only when water goes from liquid to solid (freezes) that it expands, not just as it cools still in liquid form. In fact, cold water at the top layer of a lake after the first real cold spell in the fall, will sink to the bottom and the lake will "turn over." This is a common occurrence in large impoundments.

Amen.

Although I appreciate your compliment, I cannot take credit for this. I heard this on a TV science show. Another interesting point: without the moon that we have - size and location - life on earth would be primitive, if anything at all.

How true.

One fact I didn't see there, and I might have missed it, is that water is one of the few liquids (maybe the only one) that expands when it gets colder and turns to a solid. If this were not the case, there would be little, if any, life on earth.

An excellent observation. Right on point.

But for the National Environmental Protection Act, the Clean Air Act, the Clear Water Act, and the US Environmental Protection Agency, our rivers, lakes, bays, and estuaries would look exactly like China's.

Very true.

I checked some canned mushrooms I have and it says it is a product of France. Do you think it originated in China and was repackaged in France then came here?

With the way you obviously think, it's a good chance.

This is propaganda! My son and his wife teach at the University of Beijing and travel China in their spare time. It would be just as easy, and is, to show our polluted water sources. Josh has sent many pictures of the beauty of China. These pictures you list only show the ignorance and the refusal to admit we all can get along and the world be a wonderful place to co-habitate. It is another reason America is faltering on their high horse which has become nothing more than a four legged mule.

Murphy applied for a fork lift operator post at a famous Irish firm based in Dublin.

A Norwegian applied for the same job and since both applicants had similar qualifications, they were asked to take a test and led to a quiet room with no interruptions by the Manager.

When the results were in, both men had scored 19 out of 20.

The manager went to Murphy and said, "Thank you for coming to the interview, but we've decided to give the Norwegian the job.

Another cheap ethnic joke.

Murphy, "And why would you be doing that? We both got 19 questions correct. This being Ireland and me being Irish surely I should get the job.

Manager, "We have made our decision not on the correct answers, but on the question you got wrong.

Murphy, "And just how would one incorrect answer be better than another?

Manager, "Simple; on question number 7 the Norwegian wrote down, 'I don't know.

I played with a Leica at a camera store recently, not sure which model.
Was very impressed other than not having an eye level finder.
One of those, "If I won the lottery" purchases.
The Qreview is HERE

I purchased an eye level finder of one of my Leicas, the D LUX 4 which works perfectly.
