I do love these old buildings, but still sad to see them in such disrepair...

So sad to see these old beauties falling apart to time.... Nice photo though, one would expect to see a ghost in the window :)

Thanks for the help here. My camera is a Canon Rebel T5I and longest lens is Canon EF 100-400 F 4. I am using a tripod that's very outdated and really haven't looked into a new one. I appreciate any help so at least have a start in the right direction.

Hi All, I'm looking to replace my old and tired tripod, not sure what to get. I shoot landscapes, harness racing and do video interviews occasionally. Looking for a ligh weight, sturdy reasonably priced tripod in the $200 range if there is such a thing. Thanks in advance...

Her life is sad in so many ways. She was obviously suffering with some form of mental illness. I felt terribly sorry for the young girl she cared for and treated so poorly, and dragging children to the most horrible places so she could take photos. But I found the whole story fascinating. The way her photos were found and brought back to life, amazing. Amazing someone saw the art in her photos and cared enough to pursue and find out about a person he had no ties to. Thanks for all the other info as well, I appreciate it.

Has anyone else seen this documentary? It is on the Academy Award shortlist for Documentary Feature. What a strange story but so very interesting. She was such a great photographer, but kept her works to herself. A must see!

Phil, if you do happen to find anything out about this place, please let us know. I was just wondering, since the stables were this beautiful, what did the house look like, if there was a house on the property. A mansion of great proportion, one would assume.

Phil, beautiful shots! I don't blame you for sneaking closer! I would have to make a short visit to the local historical society to see when this place was built. It is so sad to see so many old buildings destroyed, kudos to those who see the beauty and have the funds to restore these gems.
