I think the first photo is very good. The empty chairs in the background add interest.

Beautiful!
Having them tilt their heads together makes the pose perfect.

Well said, Canon Lee.

The left in the US seems to defend their opponents' right to free speech by name calling, shouting down, and suing them. So far.

I purchased the a6000 with the kit lens, the 50mm 1.8, and the 55-210mm from another member of this site. Since then I've added the 60 and 30mm Sigma's, the 20mm sony, and a Rokinon 8mm fisheye.

I have taken some excellent pictures with the a6000 and all the listed lenses except the 16-50 kit lens. I have used a tripod with a shutter release and have not been happy with the results on that lens. Maybe I got a poor copy of it.

I have found that the a6000 is a wonderful daylight camera. The 55-210 is a very nice lens in good light, as are the others I have.

What has disappointed me about the camera is its low light (and indoors) performance. When I get to 3200 or above in iso, the noise is enough to spoil the pictures for me. I have taken some night pictures with the a6000, and they had high noise, but I expected that.

I've also had focusing problems with the camera. I use manual settings with raw most of the time, and while sometimes I get tack sharp shots, other times with the same settings, I won't get the expected sharp results.

This includes using legacy lenses with an adapter. I have a number of Nikon lenses, and eagerly tried them on the a6000 with all the manual focusing aids in play. I had my camera on a tripod, using a lens release cable and was shooting into good light. With the exception of the 85mm 1.8, I didn't find tack sharp results with my other Nikon lenses. (50mm 1.8, 24-120mm f4, 35mm D, 18-70mm DX, 200mm f4)

I've also purchased the Friedman book, read it twice, and studied a lot of youtube vids on the camera. My opinion is that this camera can get good results but you better get all the relevant settings exactly right, and have good e-mount lenses for lower light shooting situations.

Depending on the light, and what flash options you have (a good off camera speedlight), if you have to push up the iso above 1600, the image quality may be a bit disappointing with this camera.

LOL! It did kind of look like a golf club, that was my first impression too!
