These images are as shot, no post processing. The roof line appears to be level while the bottom of the stairs are not. I have a similar image taken with my Z8; most everything in the Z image is square and true and parallel. Perhaps at the moment I got this image there was a ripple in the space/time continuum? On the other side of the building is a sculpture showing space/time being warped.
I was inside this place several years ago; it closed soon after; it has since reopened to the public perhaps a year ago??? Have yet to get a look through their telescope.

Yes, the roofline appears to be nearly level but the stairs not so. I wonder if it was a phenomenon with the lens. I copied this image to photos and tried to correct it in the editing mode, but couldn’t do it quite right. But then I was using the built-in editing software in my iPad Pro and didn’t use a more sophisticated program. Sometimes a scene just fools the camera.

Interesting building. Just a note, the last shot needs to be leveled. Looks like the camera was tilted slightly. Otherwise, nice shot. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Greg, for a small time in the spring they are regal.

Yes, they’re pretty while they last. At the courthouse in Caldwell, Id, where I worked for awhile, there was a row of a kind of plum tree. They were very nice when they bloomed in the Spring, but then they developed these little plums that fell on the sidewalk and made a big purple mess. Not so pretty then.

Thank you, Greg. They are nice, no?

Yes they are. Seems roses up here are found in flower shops. Except for the wild, or tundra roses, but they don’t look like the classic rose.

That’s an interesting people shot. The B&W suits it well.

Haven't visited that cemetery but there were a few really bad boys on both sides of the border.

Yes there were. Go north to the Klondike and Dawson City where bad ruled and bad boys reigned.

Where the horizontal boards meet that angled boards does make it appear to be a corner rather than a flat plane. Very cool. I wonder what it looked like when it was new and finished. It’s a photo that seems to generate its own caption.
