What is the HDR page? Great shots!

I'm not sure I would explain it correctly, but here's the address http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/s-107-1.html

If you look at the All Sections link on the left side of the home page, you will see it listed in there. Fascinating stuff!

Never figured I had that many that someone would want to steal   I guess if I had one I really wanted to market,I would watermark it! Any of the ones I have sold have never been on here,so if I was going to sell one,it wouldn't be put on here,it would be on my own site and protected!

Those are the tricks that I have to learn. :-)

rlaugh,

have you had any problem (that you knew of) where someone has 'stolen' one of your photos? I saw that mentioned somewhere when I first joined UHH, but I don't think there's much you can do about it...

Well, thanks!

My grandpa was a rail road man. He worked for the Long Island Rail Road and we would get to ride for free!

Great shots Rlaugh I especially like number 2 with the reflection in the hub cap.

I agree, number 2 is great. Since I'm new here can I ask why you say 'please download?"

Majestic..great shots!

Thanks so much. I actually posted them because I saw a similar picture on the HDR page and was curious if it was the same place ( it was listed as St. Michael's Island). I found out it was and so the post here because I couldn't put them on the HDR page...this additional picture is at the top...

This island in Normandy dates from ancient times. When the tide is out it would be accessible, but when the tide came in it was cut off from the mainland. There is a walkway now to make it accessible. It's been a monastery since the 800s. Fascinating!

The small dots in the second photo are people walking on the sand...

It's an 'island' just off the coast of France. There is a causeway joining it to the mainland but becomes inaccessible when the tide comes in.

That's what I thought! I don't think I can show you my photos because they are not HDR :(

Eye707, please use the "quote reply" button when responding so that we all know exactly to which statement you are responding. Thank you.
And B&H and Adorama get away too much of my hard-earned dough.

I definitely will start using the Quote/Reply. I said thank you to someone on another posting and then found out it wasn't even for my photo

Planepics, did you ever use a macro filter? I don't even know how they would work. The macro lenses are so expensive! Guess I'll have to put off retiring for awhile!
