Very nice night shot! Maybe you could include how you shot it, camera, lens and etc. The city is alive but maybe you should have waited until Sunday night after the big game , there may be fireworks. :) :) :)

Used Nikon d7000
Tamron 24-70 2.8 lens
100 ISO
F9
8 second exposure
Shot in Raw and processed in LR

Go Hawks ;)

Nice shot Ken!

I grew up there and still live nearby. The building on the left with the green light on it is the Smith Tower. It was Seattle's tallest building for a long time.

Everything about the city is growing, except the freeway system

Trying for a better shot. Hill behind spring and on the way to Fairy Falls.

I like #3 as well. I was there in September this year, however I did not know about this view point until after we had left. Maybe next time.

Great Shots! I can tell you I went to Seattle a few years back and tried a few shots at night, from almost the same location(Queen Ann Hill?)and I did not achieve the same results. Nicely done.

You have the location correct, Kerry park on Queen Anne.

Thanks for looking

1) Great shot of the Needle, Key Arena, and south side of D/T.
Advertiserer's like.

2) Chamber of Commerce advertisement.

3) Classic application of a graduated neutral density filter.
Shadows across the bottom kill this shot.

All three are well shot, nice variation of focal length views. They show thought to composition based on the focal lengths. I like the grouping as such, or separately.

Thanks for the feed back.

These were taken tonight of the Seattle waterfront from across Elliott Bay. The sun was setting behind me. I wanted to try and capture the reflection of the setting sun on the buildings.

Glad you found an Elk. The wolves have pretty much wiped them out. Used to see hundreds on each visit. Only three a couple of weeks ago...hiding in the trees. Very sad.

We actually saw several small herds of elk in different parts of the park. I guess you never know what you will see and where.

Nice captures...I visited the Grizzly center in West Yellowstone & I thought it was well worth the cost to get in..the Grizzly's there are amazing. I didn't see many in Yellowstone so was glad to see these close up.
And, Dennis the Menace a bull elk trapped me In my
