My question....why now??? Who released the video? Who wanted it released, and why now? Why not earlier?

Honestly, it really doesn't matter. When the Chinese decide to take this continent for its agriculture land there will be war.

The future belongs to those with the food and water. North America has both.

Our population is a little different than the chinese population.....we're armed!

Most reports I have read or heard stated a variant of the Sidewinder launched from a F-16. If that is true that has to get the Russians attention. Our older technology taking down what is supposed to be their latest and greatest.

Hadn't heard it was air to air. If it was SAM, it most likely was a Hawk, or a Rapier.

Your "I won't rely on you to answer honestly." comment is completely uncalled for. I have no reason to be dishonest because I don't lie nor waiver from my stances that are based on t***hs as I see them in front of me.

The fact is that there is always some collateral damage in war. These terrorist cowards, which seems like an oxymoron because they are supposedly willing to blow themselves up for their cause but always hide among women and children to keep from being blown up by someone else, go to great effort to CAUSE collateral damage they can then broadcast to the world as our fault. They're not against shooting a thousand of their own innocents who happen to be Christian, but let us bomb a building and k**l 20 innocents and the videos are all over TV almost immediately. They are the ultimate examples of evil. They have no good in them, they have no ability to love others, they have no guilt, they have no remorse. They'd k**l their own parents, wives, and children if it benefited their sick cause.

Terrorists in my house... Of course I would want them selectively k**led without the rest of us - being that we are innocent victims of theirs. But I'd also have to weigh the facts that if they're in my house they're likely going to k**l us anyway, whether the "powers that be" give rescue a shot or not. Do I want my family k**led by the "powers that be"? No. Do I want my wife gang-raped and beheaded while I'm forced to watch, then my 5 year old son gang-raped, shot in the head, and beheaded before they finally k**l me too? I'd have to weigh those two scenarios and would decide that the powers that be blowing my house off the face of the earth with us in it as collateral damage would be better. With my belief in God and an afterlife for my family and I, I'd know that we'd be better off with a quick death than long torturous slow executions at the hands of sick, perverted, evil maniacs.

I never said that ALL Muslims should be considered collateral damage. I have some Syrian and Lebanese friends I've known for decades who are peaceful, hardworking, nice U.S. citizen people who love and enjoy our American way of life without having a single rebellious thought against us. I'm not racially biased against any race or creed. I'm married to an Asian, I was married to an American-German. I just once dated a black girl. I greatly respect the intellect and religious dedication of the people of India. Color and ethnicity mean nothing to me. As far as I'm concerned, if you peel the skin off of all of us, we're all the same inside - except what's going on inside the mind - good or evil, love or h**e, peace or r*******n, etc.

This conversation is a moot point anyway because collateral damage is mounting higher and higher by the actions of the terrorists as we speak, even if we didn't bomb anybody anywhere in an attempt to stop ISIS.

Glenn Beck just raised $19M which is being used for gathering up and t***sporting Syrian Christians to save them from being murdered by ISIS. Christian heads are being sliced off as fast as ISIS can find them. I support such saving actions as that. But I do not support dropping flyers into ISIS territory to supposedly tell innocents to leave because bombing is about to start. If ISIS is there, they're reading the flyers and digging even deeper into the crowds of innocents who are forced to stay there so collateral damage becomes even larger. Only i***ts drop flyers with no comprehension that ISIS members can read and will prepare for the bombing as well.

Flyers were meant in previous wars and conflicts for propaganda purposes to brainwash enemy into thinking they were defeated and ought to run away, or for brainwashing that the war was already over and they were just not informed yet. Using flyers for instruction to a segregated group who are forced to stay and can't leave under the control of a group of terrorists, is stupid and the brainchild of a 4-year-old.

As in any other war, Vietnam for example, you can't go into a foreign country and recognize who is for you and who is against you, so collateral damage ensues. North Vietnamese women posing as South Vietnamese prostitutes put razor blades in their vaginas to k**l American soldiers. They acted friendly and hosted American soldiers to feed them food with poison or drug them to sleep and stab them to death. North Vietnamese soldiers dressed up as farmers in South Vietnam and when U.S. soldiers went through a village looking for the enemy they could surprise attack. So after all is said and done, there was always collateral damage in war. The enemy will wave and smile at you with one hand and shoot you with the other.

As I said earlier, you can't fight a politically correct war to appease pacifists and the UN. Pacifists can only learn that by being in the war and first-hand experiencing the evil of war but they avoid doing so and preach fantasy and opposition from the sidelines where it's safe. Maybe some pacifists should go over the Syria and to the ISIS territory to spew their anti-patriotic crap and see if ISIS likes it or beheads them just like they behead everybody else.

Instead there are stories on TV news where former Afgan war U.S. soldiers who have been back here for several years are selling their homes, putting together as much money as possible, and going back over there to patriotically fight for democracy WITHOUT PAY by recapturing war equipment from ISIS, rebuilding it, and serving our country with no reward except regaining what Obama has lost for us over the last 7 years. It's shameful that these people have to do this with no help from the government to save innocents and honor the memory of their friends and family members who died over there before.

Wiping out the 30,000 and all ISIS leaders may result in a couple thousand innocents lost as collateral or may not. Putin isn't worrying about it. He's just making progress against ISIS which the U.S. is not.

But if we don't wipe ISIS out, how much collateral damage is there going to be worldwide? When a major sporting event is bombed in the U.S. and a thousand or so are directly blown to bits, but the side of the stadium falls and k**ls several thousand more, it would have been better to wipe out the 30,000 and have some collateral damage. When a city of 1 million is poisoned by a terrorist putting something in the water system, or even just the city's open-to-the-public water reservoir, with 25,000 dying and 500,000 critically sickened, wiping out the 30,000 with a couple thousand collateral damage would have been the wise choice. When power to half of the U.S. shuts down after the bombing of a single high voltage tower out in the podunk countryside somewhere and the whole U.S. goes into chaos giving terrorist plenty of time to attack in many different metropolitan areas, bombing the 30,000 with collateral damage will prove itself to be the better alternative.

Just as someone breaking into my house has made their life choice to die as they come through my door, ISIS members have made their life choice to die for their cause. Their choice, not mine. It's not up to me to reverse their thinking or save them from themselves. I would feel no remorse for shooting an armed robber right between the eyes to save my family and myself. I don't care if he's drugged at the time or straight as an arrow. I feel no remorse for the bombing of 30,000 terrorists no matter what country they're from, whether they've been there for 2 days or 2 years, and that includes all the ignorant women from every country who have been recruited to marry ISIS fighters and have children. They signed their own death warrants by joining that cause and if I had my finger on the button to send a smart bomb into an ISIS hangout or headquarters, I'd have no remorse about pushing it. Given the opportunity they'd do exactly the same thing to me without hesitation and even smile and dance around after doing so.

Not in a battle for survival? What do you call 9/11? The Boston Marathon attacks, Ft Hood, Paris? Were they all workplace violence?? Or an attempt to conquer us as you say it?

Vietnam now even refuses to call Saigon 'Ho Chi Minh' city because they tasted freedom and even now have a large influence of Western technology and investment.

Wait'll they get their hands on nuclear weapons. Wait'll they perfect delivery of the chemical weapons they ALREADY possess. Wait'll they start dabbling in biological weapons!

Do you suffer from senility or dementia? Please stop insulting us with your selective memory.

I remember watching the news back then and there were clips from all over the world with all the demented s**theads dancing in the streets.

I remember seeing it ,too, and it wasn't just overseas. But the one instance I do remember, clearly to this day, were my next door neighbors. A family of eight pakistani's lived on one side of me, and a number of their friends came over that evening, and their celebration spilled out to the street.I remember them moving the party indoors when they realized we could see them. We didn't stay there much after that, moving to the mountains and never looked back.

I understand your point of view. Give months to prepare and being questioned by i***ts helped her immensely.
