This is fun to watch. The Republicans on here who daily badmouth the Democrats, are now angry because someone is calling a Republican racist, a racist. Now that is really thin skinned. They can dish it but not take it.

Republicans need to remember that we Americans are all Americans, and not each others enemies.

...and also that they lost the damned election in 2012 and need to get over it!

They keep shooting themselves in the foot! Instead of reaching out for someone to lead their party, they double down with this riffraff. They may be appealing to the far right vangies but young people are leaving their party, if they were foolish enough to go with them in the first place. And Palin introducing him? Make that tripling down! :)

It would also help if they could come up with an alternate plan instead of just sitting back and bashing everything the Dems try to accomplish! "If you don't have a solution, get the F... out of the way!"

Need some help, a friend of mine wants to sell me his used Canon T3i, now I have never used a Canon, as most of my friend know I am a Nikon person, but he wants to dump if for $200.00, now all my friends that use Canons seem to have Canons D6 and D7 and double Ds but nothing about this Canon, those that use it would be a big help in filling me in on it's ability and soundness.
Thanks guys any and all suggestions is welcomed

It's a very capable camera. It just doesn't have as many bells and whistles as the higher end Canon's and not as good in low light siturations. It would help to know what you are going to use it for. If just for general snap-shots, family pics, etc. I highly recommend it. If you are planning to shoot sports, art photography, etc. you will probably need more. I have one as a backup to my 70D and D6 and in general, shots with plenty of light etc., anyone would be hard pressed to see a difference in the PP'd image between the T3i and the other two. It's a steal at $200 and I would do it without hesitation (if it's in good shape of course!).....hope this helps.

So, what would you suggest? Throwing him back? Letting him rot in Pakistan? Charging him with desertion?

Here's a perfect example of two uses of the word "shot." Karl Taylor has a free video about how to take a product shot of Whiskey.

Then the problem arises. What do you do with that glass of whiskey after you're through using it for the shot? :D

France has much more wide open space than I had expected. We have ridden our bikes through kilometer after kilometer of beautiful fields and seen many incredibly beautiful old French farmhouses.

I currently own a Canon 60D, which I really like. I had a Canon T3i before that. I have been reading a lot about the full-frame cameras and wanting to upgrade. Today I got a Canon 6D. I am charging the battery and I cannot wait to try it out tomorrow. I will try to post some pictures if I can. I appreciate all the information and posts from the skilled photographers on this forum. I have been reading the posts for about 6 months, but this is my first time posting. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge.

I would like some suggestions from those more experienced in this area than me. I am shopping for something to go on top of my Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod. I shoot with a Nikon D7000 which usually has an 18-200 mm lens attached to it. I am looking to purchase a head for the tripod and wanted some suggestions on whether or not it is wise to go with a ball head or pan head. The tripod will be used mostly indoors but could be set up outdoors on a level surface. I will shoot portraits, possible some sports by my grandchildren. I doubt I would ever go hiking, if that even matters, and think that may be more important when considering the actual weight of tripod and head. Probably would not want to spend more than $150. for the head.

Your thoughts, please.

I definitly recommend the ball head . Much easier to set in any position you want....
