Fabulous shot! This really works in B&W but I especially enjoy the composition/story that this particular grouping of people evokes. Really, really like this!!

Thanks for your advise. I have my software set to automatically delete files from the SD card after transferring so I wasn't able to put the card back in the camera to do that. Maybe I should change that setting.

Yes, you might want to change that setting so you have options. I tend to be rather paranoid and expect things to go amuck (sometimes I think a whole tribe of gremlins have moved into my neighborhood!!). That's why I buy lots of SD cards when they're on sale and keep my photos on them, just rotating the ones I use. It works for me!

I have recently returned from an all too brief trip to the mountains where I made Oh So Many pictures of trees and creeks and streams and hills and waterfalls and mountains! I loaded all photos from my Canon 60D and Hubby’s Canon SX50 to my computer. Then, visually impaired Hubby asked that we view them on the big screen TV so he could help me select the better ones for keepers.

I copied all the JPEG files back to an SD card and put it in the slot on the TV. All photos show as thumbnails. But, when I select individually or do a slideshow, the photos made with the 60D will not show – I get a message that says “File Cannot Be Read”. All the photos made with the SX50 can be viewed full screen with no problem.

Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong or what I should be doing differently? Thanks for any advise.

Well, now that I've read all the replies you've gotten I have to say that I share your frustration and head-scratching over things like this. The only experience I've had that might help you is that when I want to see my photos on my HD TV I plug the camera into the TV. That way the pictures are coming directly off the SD card in the camera, directly to the TV. Hope this helps and good luck to you.

Thank you so very, very much for these links. When I lived in MD it was my biggest thrill to spend a day on the Mall, exploring whatever museum struck my fancy. It's one of the luxuries I miss the most since moving to FL 15 years ago. With all these fabulous links, you've made my day, for many days to come!

Does anyone use Square for credit card sales?

Yes, I do, for the past 8 months, and I've been satisfied with the ease of use and how quickly they deposit the money into my bank account. I use it on my iPad (but carry my iPodTouch with me, just in case) and got a stylus for customers to use when signing. They seem to like it better than using their finger. So far, smooth sailing. I recommend it!

There are quite literally thousands of adapters lister on ebay. Brand new MFG and they work great. Just type in the search bar; canon fd to nex e mount. Or anything you got.
I have several, minolta to nex, canon fd to nex, canon fd to canon eos. You get the picture. And they range from $4 to $12.
Since you have a nex, go look at the minolta lenses. There are like 1500 listed. I picked up a canon 2x teleconverter for $1.99 and it is like new.
There is a glut of minolta stuff out there. Get it while you can before the market changes.
