Carla, it's always a wonderful day when you come to visit!

I tried a slightly different crop than you suggested (and used the free transform tool). See below. Will need to play with this some more, but I do think you're onto something. Many thanks for your time and interest!

Personally I am going with your original image. There is room to roam through the shot. This cropped version is in your face. And there may be a mild case of vertigo for me.

Some of them made me laugh. Not your usual junk yard photos.

Much to like about this photo. The reflection the trail in the water . The subtle blue. But a little more of the scene in front of the bird. So it doesn’t look like he is leaving the frame.

Lots of fun stuff to discover, including the canoe This one must have taken quite awhile to put together.

Thanks Linda, I thought a canoe was a necessary part for this scene. It took me a couple of hours.

Beautiful panorama... but if you whacked off the right hand third you would have a clean story.... the second house is distracting. The first house appears to have been a mill that is the purpose of the fall.

Don I see what you are saying. But I put the house on the right to show the “ upgrade” of housing in the area. I left the foliage as to be overgrown. The river was used for a paper mill. The red building from a historical site.

Running water is beautiful Frank

I agree Jack, as long as I don’t have to try to swim through it.
