An Old Wooden Church In Poland ......really something to see.

This church is so beautiful, one has to wonder how you could possibly concentrate on the service?
This church had been built by Germans since this part of Poland had been German until WW II,
when the Oder/Neisse line had been drawn.

Details in this church are absolutely amazing. Take a good look.
Use the pointers at the bottom of the picture to view all the different angles,
up and down and the + sign to zoom in. It’s incredible. Move your cursor around to see it all.

Truly amazing detail and design. Glad it made it through WWII. Thanks for letting us know.

here's a test someone with some spare time could try. Howard5252 has a post about using LensAlign to tune his Nikon camera/lens combo. Now he gets sharp focus.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if someone with two of the same model camera adjusted each for the same lens. How much variation would there be between the cameras?

Excellent question. I am betting there is a significant amount of variation.

Our local Camera Club went on a tour of a new Sierra Nevada Brewery facility nearby in Mills River NC on Monday. The place is very photogenic.

Love the last shot. That's a lot of tech!

Cliff: Neatcaptures!

I am from Brimfield Illinois close to Peoria. Our boys basketball team captured the 2015 basketball state championship. Where are you from?

Thank you. I used a Panasonic LX 200 with the constant 2.8 aperature as you zoom from 23mm to 600mm. Often use F 4.0 aperature for close subjects.

Nice shots, Cliff! Do you know what kind of bird is in your first shot?

I don't know. Can anyone else identify the bird in the first photo?

Enjoyed your images,Cliff. Loved the light on the ducks and pond. nicely done.

Hi Carly Sue! How are you. The ducks were challenging because of all the brush in the way and the shading from trees. But there were five ducklings so I had to give it a shot.

Cliff these are great.... That last one is special!

Thanks Frodo! The redwing activity around this 700 acre lake was intense and fun to photograph. Must have been 60-80 red wings around this lake.

Very nice, I have a hard time trying to get close to these guys

They are very jittery. Like conducting a studio shoot of a ferret.
