Hi, I have offered my advice to several on how they could change the "feel" of their images, now it is your turn to give me similar feedback. Forwarned - My images are more in the realm of abstract than natural photography.

Spent the day hiking today with the goal of photographing two local waterfalls I had never been to. I did get some waterfall shots, but I just had to share my bonus shots of the day. If you have figure out anything about me from my previous posts, you can imagine how excited I was, which always seems to affect the quality of my work. But in my defense, the sun was really bright coming down through the trees and I was using a 300 zoom...tree leaves kept getting in the way of really sharp focusing, with that in mind....critique away!

PS...did I mention how excited I was?

I totally love the first. Nice crisp lines, interesting angle, Almost a texture feel with the nice smooth walls and the many size windows. Looks great in B&W...nice choice on that too. I like how the vignette softens the edges.

Thank you for your kind remarks... I appreciate it.

Number one looks great number 2 needs more contrast not enough darkness the shadow should be black and number 3 seems washed out, too light more contrast and darkness needed here also. Great Composition and focus but need a lil help. IMHO

That was My first thought too-- and yes Three lacks contrast. I just hope with a correction that peculiar depth doesn't go away. Maybe its just My 31 inch screen.(LOL)

Okay, how about now?
