I use Photoshop, but I also have Corel Paintshop Photo.
Really nice shots - too Cute!
I shot this around midnight on a manual shutter. I timed it at 1:46, and F2.8 There was a foretasted meteor shower, but I was in the city with a great deal of light pollution. I used a tripod, but I had to hold my hand on the shutter button for the whole minute and forty six seconds. Might I have caused the streaks of light or might these be meteors?
I love old buildings, barns, farm houses and churches. Do I need the owners to sign off on rights before shooting pictures?
I love the photos, especially Garden Path! I never saw lensbaby before. I'll check it out.
Thank you all very much. I am sorry to say I am not related to A. E. Vogt. Wish I was.
Hi all,
My name is Leo Vogt and I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I have been in video production for many years and recently I bought a Sony a77. I shoot pictures of people at local network meetings, and I also shoot video from it.
This looks like a great board. I always find something of interest here.
khale - Wow, I love the color. Did you increase the color saturation in a photo editing program? I have a a77, just since October and I am not getting color to pop like that.
These are really cool. I just found this section and I have not explored macro photography before. What are extension tubes and how do they help in photography.
This may help you in understanding what the different setting are, and how they effect your pictures. It is not about your Sony camera but it does give you a very good understanding of different setting on any DSLR camera. Cut and paste this link to a youtube video into a new tab on your browser. I am not connected to this guy at all, but I found it to a good basic photography video.

I have a Sony a77 and I believe they are much the same. You have a dial control in front of the Shutter Button just under the power control and another dial in the back of the camera behind the shutter button. One button is for Fstop and the other is for shutter speed. Play with each dial while viewing your subject through the camera and you will have a better understanding of each control.
