Occasionally I think about the contributions people who participate in photography contribute. Their eyes are sharper then most in seeing interesting and beautiful things, They capture this in a moment of time and they expose it to people who might have missed it opens the viewers world to another world.
People who do photography see things that are missed by others. It is the photographer that captures generaly unseen stuff and brings it to the rest of us.
While the attraction to buying an a DSLR is great think before you act. I hope I do not sound presumptuous. I would ask myself the following questions before making such an epensive purchase.
1- Have I discovered and used all the features of my present camera?
2-Can I buy supplemental equipment to enhance those features that are not available in my present camera.(lenses)?
3- Have I grown into the purchasing of such a more suphisticated piece of equipment?
Good luck
