Great caption & photos... The are all great, however I'm drawn to the 'rusty, greasy' ones. Good job!

I don't see why it would matter if one left a simple one or two word reply. To me, this makes no sense at all. At least if they leave a reply saying 'Good Work' or something of that nature it's better than no reply at all to me. Sorry if this is off subject, but that is the only part that I don't agree with. I mean I can look at my own posts, notice that it's had 389 views, but only 22 replies (some of which are my own). Would it be so much to ask for for one to give it a thumbs up or down because that is better than nothing to me. Why even look if you have nothing at all to say? Even if you don't like it, let me know. How can one learn, honestly?

My suggestions with respect to buying/selling on a forum:

1) Check out the potential counterpart to the transaction's post count and registration date. And do a search so as to determine the nature of the persons posts. Are they simple one or two word replies that have been made in an effort to boost post count? Be leery of a seller who just registered and is offering up an item for sale.

2) Get the persons phone number

3) Inquire if they do business on Ebay. If so get their Ebay user I.D. and check out their feedback. Also compare the phone number given to you with the number they have listed with Ebay.

3a) If the seller is on Ebay have the seller do a buy it now listing at your agreed price and buy it that way using paypal. This will increase the price slightly but the buyer protection afforded by Ebay is worth it.

4) If you plan on doing a lot of on-line purchases with people whom you do not have a trusted relationship with I recommend opening an additional bank account at the bank that you do business. From this new account get a debit card. Use this new account/debit card as your designated method of payment for on-line and forum purchases. Never keep any more money in the account than that would be needed to complete a transaction. This prevents any attempt of fraud against your account.

5) Try to always use paypal and link your paypal to the new debit card

You have to do your home work and remember that the deal that sounds to good to be true usually is to good to be true.

Nice edits, I kinda like the pale skin tone but that's my personal taste. Since you're editing, maybe you could remove the scratch under the eye on the right? But again, that's my opinion.

Lol @Bob, I wouldn't either! I do not like these critters you speak of.

My Amazon tells me I might be interested in the book: "The Perfect Photo: 71 Tips from the Top (Rocky Nook)" by Elin Rantakrans.

Great to be "on top."

One reviewer praises it and suggests he takes it with him in the field.

My local public library doesn't have it (yet). Not surprising, few buy much in this area.

Has anyone read it? Opinions?

Maybe I'll buy it and relate my own (I hate the "share" word).

I don't want to read a book in the field. Too many bugs and snakes and thingies.

OK, I am looking for thoughts and ideas for future additions to this series. I already have these thoughts....

1. Winter Snow (Couple months away)
2. Sunset - Orange Sky (with/without) clouds.
3. Lightning Strike

Feel free to add your thoughts

All of the above! Can't wait (actually I would prefer no snow at all lol) to see your upcoming additions. The possibilities are endless... Sunny rain, dark storm rain, night rain, snow day/night, lightening, etc. You are well off to a great start already!

Awesome idea. Just hope that someone doesn't try to be greedy OR worse case evil and sell/trade bad equipment. Just be up front, open and honest

Also, would/could there be something to protect buyers in case item isn't delivered (not saying anyone here would be like that, but you never know). Many people are without jobs, so losing money would be a real negative.
