Blessed are those that can give without remembering, and take without forgetting.

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.'

The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill , the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.'

The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'Thank You' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Politician came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill , the barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.'

The Politician was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Politicians lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

Enjoy – just beautiful

If you ever wondered what goes on in the garden when you aren't paying attention, watch this - some of the finest photography you will ever see… thanks to speeded up time-lapsed photography

Be sure to watch this on the largest computer screen you have (HD if possible) and have your sound turned on.

The hummingbird doing rolls chasing a bee is not to be missed. Be sure and watch closely (around 2 min 40 sec) and check out the baby bat under its mother. Unreal.

Hi everyone,

My name is Michael. I'm a new member from the South Bay in the San Francisco Bay Area. Bobby Deal invited me to join the group here at UHH.

I'm approaching a decade of experience working in photography as a photographer and assistant. I started off in photojournalism, earned an art degree, worked a bit in the commercial photography realm before most recently working in corporate photography and dabbling in a bit of weddings too. Right now, I'm looking to move onto something else, but I'm still figuring it out.

Thanks for looking!

crissox9 said it very well - and James hit the Bulls EYE with his recognition that these Religions who profess all their "God did, God said and God will" are all superstitions passed down from the period of time that was dominated by superstition explaining nature and it's unknown powers and history.
It only took a few inelegant men to sway the masses with their slick tongue and words - Moses being the biggest "Snake Oil Salesman" of all time.

Did you read what you wrote?Where is the family in regards to marriage? This sounds like a community soup.Without a mother and a father present the family and children suffer.Look at any broken marriage.I think you wrote this to make yourself feel better.

Yes i did,Do you read back what you write?.If you think marriage makes a family you are delusional.Iv'e seen many a horrid marriage. The mother or father or both are idiots in the way they carry on,and in front of the children no less. They do not make a family.I have seen single mothers raise outstanding children all by them selves.A man and a woman in themselves do not make a marriage, and the children will suffer.
I wrote this to express my opinion, not to make me feel any better but to help you see the light. The ideal situation would be to have level headed and loving people surround children during their upbringing.

Marriage has always been about family and the chance that a child can be conceived and with the institution of marriage,a stable environment is promoted and produced..Gay people cannot reproduce. It is impossible save for medical procedures.
Minding your own business is irresponsible when you have the lives of children at stake.Someone has to defend children.I think gay people should have their own institution.Or change the tax laws so that couples don't get take breaks until after they have reproduced, that would make it fair to gay people.

Gay people reproduce all the time. Some are in an hetero relationship and married.Gay people often ask the opposite sex couple to reproduce with them.I have had discussions on this with Gay people,it occurs more often then you would imagine. The children turn out to be well adjusted people. This upbringing does not make them Gay.
