I merely pass on the quote "Never underestimate the power of human stupidity". Darwin award winners know this instinctively.

My mind is truly amazed at what someone can do. I don't even want to think about the consequences!

They were doing canned laughter over here when I was a teenager 55 years ago. I never cared for it, but it was always part of a show. My wife and I watch a lot of British Shows. We are presently watching Midsomer Murders. This is a series, and honestly it is truly funny. I don't find American comedy or comedians funny at all. In my families opinion they aren't even funny. We really enjoy British films. Death at a Funeral was one of the funniest films we ever watched. We even purchased the dvd. Gregger

I think you're missing the point. Midsomer Murders is meant to be a serious crime show, but the joke is really that it's been going on for so long, it's a wonder there is anyone left there to murder!

Here in the UK we get a lot of American programs (that help fill up all the cable channels we have).
However, the one thing that leaves me cold, are those programs that have a canned laughter track that seems to work after every single line.
I cannot believe that practically every sentence is funny, and you are being 'told' to laugh to order.
That really spoils my enjoyment of what is otherwise an entertaining program.
What do you over there think about it?

And you think it won't happen. And there's no Will Smith or Bill Pullman to save you!

How about the fact that Picasa mysteriously disappeared from my computer. I loaded Google Photos like a good little boy and let it do its thing. That took long enough. Initially all I saw was a jumble of images, but this morning it seems to have ordered them into date order but no indication of folder unless you click on an image!
I found the Picasa executable on a FileHippo link, and was pleased to see it indexing the photos to give me the folder structure as I like it.
Bad Google.

I'll have to tell my son number 4, that way I can go in the morning, and he can go to the real one in the evening, and we can both feel good at the end of the day.

I started with a Canon 35mm P&S. That developed a fault (wouldn't advance the film properly).
I went back to the dealer I bought it from and asked his advice, I ended up with a Nikon FT, with a beautiful 50mm lens.
After a couple of years I wanted something a bit more automated and ended up with an FE. That and its companion (one black, one chrome) lasted over 25 years.
I'd like to gloss over the first attempt to go digital, as any camera that can't take more than 36 shots (with its flash) without draining the battery is really unworthy of mention.
So back to Nikon. I honestly didn't think of any other make after the FE experience.
I found a 5700 at a bargain price. Unfortunately I found out why. It had a terrible shutter lag.
When I had the funds I bought the best DX camera available, a D90 (as the "entry" FX was far too much). Now that was a very good buy. Really wonderful until the hot shoe stopped working. The price of repair was not economic, so I used the money instead to get a 7200. So I get to say really wonderful again.
Now that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
