The frogs count their amphibians. We just need some salamanders, toads, and gators to round it all off around here.

Swamp Gator, Looks like you have a wide variety of herps out all ready down there. My wife and I like the the last turtle and find the name amusing when you click on it
Thanks and glad you liked that last turtle name. :-D
Some of those pics were from last season, but there is a variety out around here now.
I know the frogs don't technically qualify but figured I would throw them in anyhow.

Like your pictures Shane T, especially the map turtle.
Thanks, today is the first day I've seen any out up here in Cleveland. There's not to many flowers blooming yet for how warm its been these past month.

I would like to have some spring flowers so I could take pix. Guess they think it is still winter here... 8-) 80 out today, wonder when they are going to wake up?
Was wondering what type of flower is that 1st one never seen anything like that.
must printers crop to fit the size your trying to print there's a free program for windows called JPEGCrops where you can add the pictures you want set the default crop ratio you want and then adjust all the photos how you want them and process all of them at ounce.

the recent discussion about the Canon 5D Mark ii and the site posted selling it for $1200.? Also, a question about full frame: does one have to worry about printing when shooting in full frame? I'm having an awful time printing photos shot with my Canon 7D due to parts being cut off. Would I be better off shooting in full frame or would I run into the same problem?
Please share some pictures of reptiles and amphibians you have seen on your latest excursions here.
First garter snake catch of the season

Nikron7, Love it! I think the bottom is actually the top though, not real sure though.
Here's a few from the last few months walks
I would have shot in portrait style to capture the full animal and raised the exposure slightly to make his fur be a little lighter.
It looks like bark beetle damage from the larvae as it burrows and eats the layers right underneath the bark if the tree is alive they eat normally around the circumference of it.
I would go with the Tameron 18-270MM F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD lens I uses it as a general walk around lens on my Canon 60D and for the most part love it. I just sometimes wish the range was a little bit bigger and a little sharper for taking pictures of birds, but it works wonderful taking close-ups of flowers, mushrooms, insects, etc. It doesn't work great for taking pictures of people inside under low light do to the aperture always being so small, but it does a reasonable job. You just have to remember with lenses with that go from such a wide angle to telephoto range your going to be making a little bit of a sacrifice in image quality somewhere, but its getting better all the time.
here's some examples of close-ups I've taken with this lens

Just a few recent pictures I converted to black and white. Please fill free to critique just don't be to harsh. I already know about weird light refraction on the Buttermilk falls one I didn't realize I had a smear on the lens when I took it.
Brooklyn Bridge, or Bridge in Brooklyn?
Its the Brooklyn bridge of Ohio
I don't suppose it's for sale, is it?
I don't think because it was just built recently over the zoo
The photos are at the top of the post unless the aren't showing up for you or do you mean location?
