As far as the cell phone goes, don't people set up a pin for their cell phones? I do just in case someone steals it.

I have a pin, AND a fingerprint scanner.

An elementary School Teacher had twenty-six students in her class. She presented each child in her classroom the 1st half of a well-known proverb and asked them to come up with the remainder of the proverb. It's hard to believe these were actually done by fourth graders.

Their insight may surprise you.

While reading, keep in mind that these are fourth-graders, 10-year-olds, because the last one is a classic!

Part of me wants to say, "If you want to remove useless programs from your new PC, start with Windows." But I won't. You purchased a Dell, and didn't say you wanted to use Linux, so by inference, Windows is what you want. I have a Windows 11 Pro PC and actually find Edge to be a pretty good browser!

Edge is in no way related to the late, unlamented Internet Exploder... er, Explorer. At their core, virtually all web browsers use one of three "rendering engines,"

• WebKit, developed by Apple from a Linux source and used in the Safari browser and all iOS devices
• Gecko, developed by Mozilla, and used in Firefox and Thunderbird
• Blink, developed by Google, and used in Chrome and its derivatives. Google started with WebKit but built Blink off of it.
• Trident, developed by Microsoft and used in IE. It is now defunct. Edge uses the Blink engine, which puts it on par with Chrome.

All of these browsers are "invasive" in that they track your activity and generate targeted ads based on your browsing history. On a new computer I always download and install the free (and private) Brave Browser and make it the default.

I am a Fuji equipment fan and own the XT-3, The 18-55 kit lens, the 50 -140, and the 100-400 plus the 1.4 tc. I was considering upgrading to the the XT-5 to improve the auto focus.
Well, as I get up there in years, I leave for Costa Rica only with my Panasonic FZ1000 bridge camera.
I have been considering the Sony DSC RX 10 IV and would like to hear from people who have experienced this camera.
All advice will be appreciated, thank you.

I have the FZ1000 MII, and it is the best camera I have ever owned....The RX10 MIV is also a great camera, but budget restraints did not allow me to get it(Twice as much as the FZ...) Very satisfied with my FZ.

I am replacing my windows 7 with a windows 11 new computer.
There are too many choices.
HP seems to be a good pc. I believe 16gb will be good enough.
My only PP program is PSE.
Pricing averages around 500 to $700.
And Intel Core 15?

I would look at refurbished desktops on EBay...I got mine there...i7,32GB memory, 256GB SSD. 8 GB graphics card, AND.....a 4TB HDD! (I suspect this belonged to a photographer at one time.). At any rate, it is an excellent machine. Total price: $438, and some change. (Note: Ebay guarantees you will receive the right item,or will refund your money) The computer is an ASUS.
