ALL the children and dogs are adorable.
Is that a WESTIE? I painted one on one of my Christmas cards for a lady in Canada and did a Yorkie on an ornament for a local lady.
I love both dogs. I must say GERMAN SHEPHERDS are soooo smart and it's so sad to hear what happened to Beauty and Beast.
Great photos y'all ( I'm deep-fried southern)

You painted a Yorkie on an ornament? You must have one heck of a talent to paint one on something that small!!! Great idea's though! My German and King both was wonderful, smart, and full of life in the day and at night kept me and my family safe from whatever may try to cross the line. Both was amazing. I knew Beast would go not long after Beauty was gone. I tried to prepare myself but it took months for my family to heal from loosing both of them. One thing I know, they will never be forgotten.

I paint for a living. I paint everything from tiny to huge. I have painted on a thimble and have painted wall murals 20 feet tall and 30 feet wide. I make greeting cards and sell them in all 50 states and 5 other countries. I do them in 8x10 inch or 11x14 inch paintings, scan them and shrink them to 5x7. I do people's dogs, horses, cats and birds (parrots) on them. I started painting at 4 years old and hope I paint til I head for the bridge!
I have done many breeds of dogs on ornaments. I need to paint more breeds on cards. I have lots of horse cards (about 60-70), but just a Westie and a Corgi on cards.
I had a German Shepherd once. She was soooo smart. It kills us to lose one. I know what you mean.

my grandbaby in his new hat, and Dancer,(thunder, missing an antler, dancer is in the back, reindeer are the only species that both male and female have antlers, they both lose them every year in late winter early spring, each reindeer lose's them and they grow the same way every year) the reindeer that is in my profile pic, she just passed on this past summer, she was pushing 13, very old for a reindeer, she was an amazing animal, we worked all week from november to just after xmas, she was the best!

Thunder, would try and stab all the other reindeer all winter, he was not nice, then he lost his antlers first, the others ganged up on him so bad that we had to pull him out and put him in another pasture

I have seen this type of set up, its amazing the time and work that goes into it, and alot of times the actor will tell them the "look" they want to display for the audience, and will get very bossy when a certain lighting is showing to many "life" lines on the face LOL!
