While it doesn't address your question, this link:

Purports to contain a list of new lightroom features.

I've had similar experiences at the zoo. The size of the crowd is another factor. Aside from better light, that's another good reason to go early or late, when the crowd is smaller.

So how many megapixels does one need?

It's so easy to answer photography questions because every question has the same answer. That answer is: It depends.

While Magic Lantern is for Canon only, and only for some Canon models, that does include the 6D. It's a hack of the Canon operating system, and they provide some warnings about unhappy outcomes, but I put it on a Canon DSLR pretty readily, and it worked as promised. It adds a lot of new functions, some of them really useful. But, be forewarned, documentation is limited.

This bird has an interesting eye. Photo was taken several years ago at Hebron Fish Hatchery, Hebron, OH.

Mostly $5 - $10 on eBay; some a little more or less, depending on condition.

So, for a trivial diversion, how do you pronounce the term, "ISO?" All my life, my pronunciation basically has been to spell out the initials I-S-O, or Eye-Ess-OH. But, I've been watching some of Tony Northrup's instructional videos, and he consistently pronounces it Eee-So. You'd think a noted published photography author like Tony would know, wouldn't you? How do you pronounce it?

When we went to Italy, I used a Tenba 638-232 messenger bag. Kind of looks like a murse, and not readily identifiable as a camera bag.

I've marked my chargers with a silver Sharpie to try to avoid the battery/charger mismatch issue.

I looked at several photography LED lights on Amazon. There was no mention of guide numbers. Wouldn't the guide number concept still be applicable, both for measuring the lighting power of the device and for exposure calculations?
