(makes as much sense as some of the other answers)
Seems like it doesn't matter how many died or whether or mot fish can drown, or "swam away" (where could they go?).
If there were 10 in the tank at the start there are still 10 in the tank.
Thanks to all. I've got some trouble-shooting to do!
Why do we park our cars in the driveway and drive our cars on the parkway?
PanasonicLumix DMC FZ 50:
I recently uploaded images from sd card to my pc using a card reader. When I put the card back in the camera I can no longer view the images. I was able to take additional shots and view those images but not the ones I uploaded. I can view the photos on my pc using the card reader so they're still on the card...I just can't view them in the camera.
Suggestions?
The "F" in NFL doesn't stand for fair, fans or fun it stands for "finances". I'd be as ticked off as you but the only way things will change is if folks stop buying tickets and jerseys or watching games and I don't see that happening. I've had to deal with late season game changes too but in the NFL's defence tickets and schedules for games late in the season, generally after Thanksgiving, carry some type of caveat such as "time subject to change".
With some limitations, the NFL controls the schedules. Their goal is to make the "best" games available to the widest audience i.e., the prime time nationwide audience as opposed to the afternoon regional audiences. Local fan interest is really not a concern of the NFL.
Threads do have a way of diverting, don't they? I thought the original of this "Rant" was about "frustration with a photographer" who knows nothing about their equipment.
Regardless, I find the diversions insightful, informative and entertaining.
Happy New Year to all!
(Is anyone in 2016 yet?)
Ya mean Frazier wasn't a Brit? Why did he talk like that?
Sgt. Bilko (Phil Silvers) can still be seen here in re-runs and is still...at least in my eyes...funny.
Mitzi Gaynor! Came across an old Christmas Special she did on TV here in the States ('60s?). A talented, beautiful and classy lady.
As for the jokes, I got...and laughed at...most of them even on this side.
Happy New Year!
Stay with me on this.
A few years ago I gave the receptionist in our office two framed enlargements of shots I had taken. She decided to keep them at her work space where they were visible to anyone who came to our office. A few days later a colleague told me he didn't know I was a "photographer". He had seen the photos and asked who had taken them.
Periodically she would tell me about visitors who asked the same question somtimes asking if I had a portfolio or a website. Now, I like to take pictures and edit them, I'm reasonably familiar with shooting in manual mode and at times can be a real PITA when looking for the shot I want. So am I "photographer"?
I also like to spend time on the golf course but other than the occasional very good shot, the game I play bears little resemblance to what we see on TV. Am I a "golfer"?
People have enjoyed a few of the essays/stories/poems I've written and shared with them. Does this make me a "writer"?
Can I call myself a "musician" because I can play a passable guitar in a small band with a few friends?
The point? Unless we have a recognized, defined set of criteria, certification or licensing procedure the "titles" are somewhat arbitrary.
Just sayin'
(I must have way too much time on my hands.)
I hope you are also planning to spend some time enjoying the people, places and culture in addition to protecting all your equipment. Ireland is a beautiful place.
I suspect Pentax offers the rainbow of colors because there is a market segment to whom the colors appeal. These consumers may actually buy a Pentax camera because of the color selections. Most of the participants in this forum are serious photographers, many of whom seem to find no point to the color bodies. I don't think Pentax, or any manufacturer for that matter, cares who buys their product as long as someone does.
I'm sure Canon sees a market for this or they wouldn't offer it. It's the kind if thing QVC viewers would be interested in. Not to my taste, but if it's a quality camera, color doesn't matter to me.
I've had this camera for 6 or 7 years...my first venture into the digital world. The built in zoom is great and saves carrying around multiple lenses. I'm strictly an amateur and am well satisfied with picture quality. I haven't had much use for the flip screen in shooting, I always use the view finder to shoot. I do like to use the screen to review my pics but now I find it to be too small. Soooooo...looks like I'll be back in the multiple lens market again!
But I'll have a great back-up!
