Beautiful season. Not fond of what follows.
You will want to have a wide angle (10-24mm?) for many of the thermal features. You might also think about shooting panoramas to stitch in your PP. Also, SHOOT RAW. I've been there twice. I was awed by the scenery far more than the wildlife. My D7100 did an awesome job. Have fun and be safe. Do not be tempted to get too close to the wildlife.
My main hobby behind photography. They keep me buzzy.
On my 2016 trip to Yellowstone, a young man left the designated path, got too close to a pool of boiling acid water. He fell in and his body was completely dissolved. Many restrictions and regulations have a purpose.
Always better to add the attachment
I actually did not. You can still see the remnants of a hand print on the top portion. It's on an old bunkhouse.
Still life on a door knob.
Shoot RAW and process in LR or ? . The HSL , tint and WB controls give you total control of the tonal values.
You might have dropped a zero. It's more like 20,000 plus. You can still get bees by mail, but it is better to get them from a local bee keeper as a NUC.
