Icelandic Air flies out of Boston to Iceland.....handy for you!
I just spent 45 minutes on your website and I have to say your photos are simply incredible!
I have just included a photo tour workshop with you on my bucket list and look forward to receiving your newsletters.
Thanks for posting.

Yes. Canon is a company driven by it's marketing department. Others are different. Nikon is driven by the engineering department.

I hate to burst your bubble but it is a proven fact that a marketing-driven company will always outperform an engineering-driven company...in any industry not just photography.
Also, everyone seems to be hung-up on the sensor forgetting about the optics, processor, circuitry, software, operator interface and the build quality of the camera. These components must all work in unison to produce good images (provided the photographer knows how to use them).
With today's technology and excellent manufacturing practices you have to try pretty hard to buy a crappy camera that doesn't produce good images. As we see daily on UHH everyone has their own preferences and loyalties. The bottom line is to buy the camera/system that best suits you and what you like to shoot. The whole thing about pushing/defending your favorite camera brand is no different than arguing about what cars we all drive.

Voss, I have been thinking about your style and figured out what bothers me: the long lens. It obviously brings the background forward and in focus. I find this distracting and prefer more separation from the background which, at least in this shot, detracts from rather than adds to the subject.
As long as I am picking on you, let me harp on the tonal range and texture. I like to see blacker blacks and whiter whites while preserving the mid-tones. Finally, your pictures seem to have a texture such as grain or noise. I do not know if you add this or is just from your gear or cropping. I look forward to your answers.

Sorry but I disagree. I think the photo is just fine considering this is a street photo, not fine art. If this was shot with a long lens as you say, the scene would have been more compressed and the background more out more out of focus. This looks like a short telephoto at best or a slightly longer than normal focal length with a wider aperture.
Outstanding shots, Kevin! Tough to pick a favorite.
Well now, ain't that some stuff for ya! I never realized that I am a historian behind the wheel.

All the hysteria with constant photo editing software upgrades drives me nuts! I have CS5 and Lightroom 6 which I had purchased as discs. Between the two of them I can do everything I need to do in processing and editing a photo with the capabilities to do way more than I will ever need or imagine. I also have Elements 14 which in my opinion provides about 95% of everything most photographers really need. For me, keeping it simple is better and eliminates self-induced headaches. But hey, that's just me.
I really don't understand the point of this whole discussion. The video proves she was never even close to the drone crash and was never in harms way at all. She fabricated the whole story. What more to understand? Should be end of discussion!
The woman is full of poop! If you look at the beginning of the video just when the drone went down you can see the woman and her dog way in the distance and see very clearly as she approaches the drone. The drone came down a good distance from her. She is just a bitch trying to make trouble for the drone operators.
Great catch and perfect timing!
My first cruse is scheduled in 2 weeks with National Geographic/Lindblad Expeditions in Alaska. Total of 62 passengers plus crew which I think I can handle just fine. I have no desire whatsoever to spend time on a cruise with thousands of people. My view on the big cruise ships is that I may as well drive the hour to downtown Philadelphia, stay in a large hotel and stare out the window for a few days.
Excellent photo, would make a good wall hanger.
Nice shot.....you can tell by his eyes what he is thinking, "did I do something wrong?"
I know I wouldn't be very pleased with you either!
