Thanks, Linda from Maine. Will do.
Hi! It was my first visit to the balloon visit and my mouth was just as agape as the kids'. In fact, I felt like a kid again. It is awesome to see those giant balloons in person. I love photo no. 1. In some of the photos that I took, it took hours to delete some people and to recreate the rest of the balloons.
Hi! I've been looking at gorgeous photos and reading your comments for about a year. When I saw pics from the Adirondack Balloon Festival, I wanted to share mine. Went on Fri., not the main event.
I am a newbie to photography and will try to participate in the Schenectady Photo Society meetings, where the members are the greatest.
I recently bought a Panasonic Lumix 200, and, for now, shoot on Program, adjusting ISO periodically. I shoot in jpeg. One day, will try raw, but seems like one has to sit at the computer for hours to get adjust photos, and I'm not a pro, just want to get the best snapshots I can.
I have Elements 12. Not completely happy with it because it is very difficult to change small details. However, for a photobook, it's "good enough."
However...Please look at the photo of the mother and child in sunset. I delete a parking lot, and also some of the sunset lighting to the right of the mother, and I've tried to figure out ways to correct that and haven't. I tried blurring and the sponge, but wasn't satisfied.
Don't know yet how to layer, and maybe that's the answer. When I have time, will learn. Always ready to learn.
Always ready for critique, so if you see my name, please don't hesitate.
Thanks to everyone for participating in such a wonderful site.
