When I hiked the High Lakes Trail at Mt. Rainier there was a lookout that looked down over Louise Lake. It had no security fencing anywhere near the edge. I got just so far and then I laid down on my belly with camera in hand crawled to the edge. I wasted no time, took my shot, and backed out.

Stepping aside from answering the question I just feel that the picture was overly sharpened. Also, if the mountains contained some degree of bokeh might be worth some consideration.
