Had a chance to head to the beach and shoot a sunset. Worked on capturing the pelicans in flight. Always a beautiful sight!!

Thanks Don, we were on our way to the rainforest from the west coast. Had to stop and get this shot. Such a beautiful place!

Thanks, I had just gotten my D600 and started shooting landscapes. Know so much more now. But yes, a beautiful place and photographers dream. Rainforest to beaches! All beautiful! Glad you liked this one of the volcano.

Beautiful shot, Rob! Costa Rica is one place I'd love to visit as well as Ireland (my roots!).

Took this in 2013 of the Volcano Arenal in Costa Rica. Wish I knew as much about photography then as I do now! Still one of my lasting memories of the area! Would love to go back and try again!

Thanks but it would have to be 4 pieces for me to put it together. No patience for jigsaw puzzles.....:)

Neat shots, Rob! I love all the colors! I agree with mrova...they'd make a great jigsaw puzzle!

Thanks, my first thought was I wouldn't want to untangle those bracelets!!!

Very cool! My first thought was that these would make a great - and challenging - puzzle!

Killing time at a local flea market while my wife "browsed". I shot a few of the displays. Loved the colors!

Need a watch??

Thanks. Always nice when UH photographers give a compliment. Not sure about real-estate photography but sure is fun to shoot with great lenses! I'm a musician by trade and always like purchasing products that make me sound a lot better than I really am!

You may just get hired as a real estate photographer! Well done.

Just started taking some images with this lens. I was invited to a black tie, open house event. Took the 14-24 with me. Fun time experimenting with it. I like what I see. Files were too large to send originals. (BTW, the house sold for $4.5M)

Thanks for the link. I'd like to believe at one time she saw a photo Nike goddess sculpture but we'll never know. Either way that's what we were told on our tour. Still a beautiful place to visit.

I should have mentioned the second building was the library which at one time held 25,000 books. Fascinating place for sure!! Thanks!

Beautiful shots and an interesting story about Nike. What is the second shot, a temple it would appear.
