Thanks. I'm not sure I have "valuable or rare" photos but I do have some that are great memories from our 2nd visit.

Thanks Vicki, dig out the album. It motivates you to save up to go back!

Street performers. Must have had support through sleeve. He'd sit there for hours. Interesting for sure!

Thanks! We loved Athens as well. Next time we'd love to spend a week!

Rob, you are absolutely right: Rome is justly famous as one of the most beautiful and interesting cities to visit. We often see the Vatican on television, not as much the monument to Vittorio Emmanuele II (built 1885), the king of Sardinia who defeated the Austrians and became the first king of united Italy in 1861.

Appreciate the compliment. I'm working hard on improving all aspects of photography. Really enjoy the challenge. UH is a great site to follow other photographers and pick up great tips! Most here are very kind and helpful.

Thanks Dave, since I posted, I did one more minor tweak. I realized in the image with the fireball sun, the top of a buoy was showing in the water on the left. I have since taken it out as I didn't want anything to distract from sun and the pelican.

Thanks, brought it up very slightly. The vignette still works. Appreciate the suggestion!

Thanks JR. You're right. I tried to be just soft enough so your eyes went to the glitter on the water, then the pelican and the light on his wing.

I am not a fan of "vignette," but this looks pretty good. It would be easy to over do it.

Working with sunset and flying pelican. Shot this then flipped to B&W with a touch of vignette. Is it too much? I thought it was a way to capture the light coming off the wing. Thanks for any comments! Always learning on this site!
